Abstract

In such a device, there is situated in a housing (1) a gas-permeable body (2) which is flowed through by the air in the direction of the arrow. Water, descaled and metered, enters through a line (3) into the body (2), as a result of which the air is humidified. As a result of the large surface, moistened with liquid, of the body (2) and as a result of the air being divided up into a large number of part flows, air with high relative air humidity is produced with low expenditure on apparatus.
