Abstract

The invention relates to a casing for filling with foodstuffs, comprising a textile sheet-like material and an acrylic resin layer, where this composite is produced by laying the textile into the acrylic resin layer. Textile/acrylic resin composites can thus be produced using less-strong textile materials, such as knitted fabrics, laid fabrics or nonwovens. The acrylic resin has thermoplastic properties, which means that the casing can advantageously be closed essentially by welding.
