Definitions
- the invention relates to a partition according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a partition with a clamping fitting in which a hammer head nut can be arranged at any position along a receiving groove of a base body.
- the wall element consists of at least one plate, for example a glass pane, with at least one clamping fitting being arranged on at least one outer edge of the plate.
- the clamping fitting has at least one base body and at least one clamping jaw, the clamping jaw being able to be fixed to the base body by means of at least one clamping screw while clamping the plate.
- the thread of the clamping screw engages in a threaded hole in the base body or passes through a through hole in the base body in order to engage in a nut.
- the mounting position of the clamping screw on the base body is fixed from the start.
- the invention is based on the object of creating a clamp fitting for a wall element of a partition which is easy to manufacture and does not require any post-processing.
- the clamping screw engages in a threaded bore of a hammer head nut, the hammer head nut being able to be arranged at any position along the extension of a receiving groove in the base body.
- the hammer head nut is non-rotatably connected to an extension or is designed in one piece, via which the hammer head nut can be rotated without tools, which further reduces the assembly effort of the clamping fitting.
- the extension of the hammer head nut can be designed, for example, as a clamping bolt or clamping lever and thus combine further functions for which separate components would otherwise have been necessary.
- the internal thread for the clamping screw can also be arranged in the extension of the hammer head nut.
- the extension of the hammer head nut can, in particular if it is designed as a clamping lever, interact with a wedge for blocking the plate in the clamping fitting. As a result, the blockage is securely fixed in the clamp fitting, which further facilitates assembly
- the extension of the hammer head nut and the blocking wedge can each have a support surface or support area with a toothing or counter-toothing, which enables a fine adjustment of the blocking height.
- the hammer head nut can have at least one formation that increases the coefficient of friction, for example a fang, so that the hammer head nut is fixed in position in the receiving groove before the clamping screw is finally tightened.
- the Fig. 1 shows a partition 1, which in this embodiment is designed as a revolving door system, with some of the wall elements 2 being designed as revolving door leaves and being pivotably mounted about pivot axes 5, and other wall elements 2 being designed to be stationary.
- the wall elements 2 designed as rotating door leaves each have a handle 6 for the manual introduction of force.
- Manually operated door closers 7 can be arranged within the revolving door leaves in a manner known per se.
- the wall elements 2 are each formed with a plate 3, in particular a glass pane, as a so-called all-glass wing.
- a clamp fitting 4 is mounted, which engages around this edge of the plate 3 and holds it in a clamping manner in order to connect the plate 3 of the wall element 2 to swivel fittings or to stationary elements such as building ceiling 8, Building wall 9 or building floor 10 or to produce adjacent wall elements 2.
- the wall element 2 can also be designed as a sliding, tilting, swinging, turning or revolving door leaf.
- One or more clamp fittings 4 can be arranged on one or more outer edges of the plate 3.
- the clamping fitting 4 can, as it is for example in Fig. 1 is shown, extend over the entire width of the plate 3. Alternatively, it is also conceivable that the clamping fitting 4 only in a certain section of the edge of the plate 3 is arranged, whereas the remaining portion of this edge can be designed to be exposed.
- FIG Fig. 2 The essential components of a lower clamping fitting 4 of a wall element 2 are shown in FIG Fig. 2 shown in the form of an exploded view.
- the clamping fitting 4 has a base body 11 and at least one clamping jaw 12, the clamping jaw 12 being able to be fixed to the base body 11 by means of at least one clamping screw 27, which extends through a through hole 26 of the clamping jaw 12, with the plate 3 being clamped.
- the through hole 26 is advantageously designed as a countersunk or stepped hole, so that the screw head of the mounted clamping screw 27 lies within the extent of the clamping jaw 12.
- elastic clamping inserts 15 are provided, which can be arranged between the contact surfaces of the base body 11 or the clamping jaw 12 on the one hand and the corresponding surface of the plate 3 on the other.
- the base body 11 which is also used to fix fittings such as roller carriages, swivel fittings, locking devices or the like. serves on the wall element 2, can extend over at least approximately the entire width of the wall element 2, the clamping jaw 12 can also be made shorter. For example, several clamping jaws 12 can be provided per wall element 2, which can be placed at the respective clamping points as required.
- the base body 11 has, facing the clamping jaw 12, an undercut receiving groove 19, in which at least one hammer head nut 22 can be introduced to fasten the clamping jaw 12 at any position along the extent of the base body 11.
- the hammer head nut 22 is non-rotatably connected to an extension or is designed in one piece, which can be designed as a clamping bolt 24 and with its internal thread 25 serves to engage the clamping screw 27.
- the hammer head nut 22 can be non-rotatably connected to a clamping lever 23 via a connecting bolt 32 or be formed in one piece, which can have the internal thread 25 for engaging the clamping screw.
- the clamping bolt 24 is used when it is not necessary to block the plate 3 with respect to the base body 11 of the clamping fitting 4. If blocking is desired, the clamping lever 23 is used in conjunction with a blocking wedge 36, the mode of operation of which will be described in detail later. If necessary, however, in addition to the clamping lever 23, clamping bolts 24 can also be provided in order to increase the number of clamping points per plate 3, for example.
- the hammer head nut 22 is dimensioned so that its width is less than the clear width between the limiting webs 20 of the undercut receiving groove 19, so that the hammer head nut 22 can be inserted between the limiting webs 20 into the undercut receiving groove 19 when its longitudinal axis is approximately parallel is aligned with the longitudinal axis of the undercut receiving groove 19.
- the length of the hammer head nut 22, however, is greater than the clear width between the limiting webs 20 of the undercut receiving groove 19, so that when the hammer head nut 22 is rotated, its end regions engage behind the limiting webs 20 of the undercut receiving groove 19. I.e. a removal of the hammer head nut 22 from the undercut receiving groove 19 perpendicular to its longitudinal axis is then no longer possible, but a displacement along the receiving groove 19 as long as the clamping screw 27 is not yet firmly tightened.
- the hammer head nut 22 can have fangs in its end regions, which in its assembly position interact with the delimiting webs 20 of the undercut receiving groove 19, which prevent the hammer head nut 22 from slipping.
- a recess 30 for example a through hole, which is penetrated by a locking screw 29, which is located above the clamping screw 27 in this embodiment.
- cover profiles 13 are provided which can be mounted in the base body 11 or on the clamping jaw 12, for example without tools with the interposition of clip adapters 14.
- Fig. 3 the insertion of the hammer head nut 22 into the receiving groove 19 of the base body 11 is to be illustrated.
- Fig. 3a the corresponding area of the base body 11 and two possible embodiments of the hammer head nut 22 are shown.
- the receiving groove 19 has a groove base 21 with a clear width w 2 and delimiting webs 20 with a smaller clear width w 1 , so that an undercut is formed.
- the hammer head nut 22 can be designed, for example, in the shape of a parallelogram or rectangular, optionally with rounded corners; other suitable shapes, not shown here, are also conceivable.
- the hammer head nut has a narrow side with a width b 1 and a side with a comparatively greater width b 2 .
- Figure 3b shows the retraction of the hammer head nut 22, which is inserted perpendicular to the plane of the drawing between the limiting webs 20 into the receiving groove 19 (left figure) and then rotated clockwise so that its end areas now engage behind the limiting webs 20 of the undercut receiving groove 19 (right figure).
- Figure 3c shows this accordingly for the second version of the hammer head nut.
- Fig. 4 shows a perspective view of the side of the base body 11 facing the plate 3. This is L-shaped in cross section, with the already described receiving groove 19 and at least in the vertical leg of the base body 11 another screw channel 31 are arranged.
- the front edge of the horizontal leg of the base body 11 forms a contact surface 16, which is concave in this exemplary embodiment, for the clamping jaw 12.
- the clamping lever 23 required to block the plate 3 is oriented in this view in such a way that the hammer head nut 22 connected to it is aligned in its longitudinal extension at least approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis of the receiving groove 19, so that it passes between the limiting webs 20 of the undercut receiving groove 19 , can be inserted into the receiving groove 19.
- the arrangement of the clamping lever 23 after this insertion of the hammer head nut 22 is shown in FIG Fig. 5 shown.
- the clamping lever 23 has on its upper side a support surface 33 with a toothing 34 and a guide projection 35 for the blocking wedge 36, and the blocking wedge 36, which is already shown in this view in its intended orientation for assembly, on its lower side in a corresponding manner Corresponding support surface 37 with counter-toothing 38 and a guide recess 39, the blocking wedge 36 being shown transparently here to clarify these features.
- the clamping lever 23 is wedge-shaped, the contact surface 33 of the clamping lever 23 and the contact surface 37 of the blocking wedge 36 having identical angles of inclination, whereby the upper side of the blocking wedge 36, which forms the support for the plate 3, is again parallel to the underside of the clamping lever 23 and thus is also aligned with the horizontal leg of the base body 11.
- a relatively low block height h 1 is in the Figures 7a and 7b shown and in the Figure 8a and 8b a relatively large block height h 3 .
- the clamping jaw 12 has contact sections 17, 18, of which the lower is in contact with the concave contact surface 16 of the base body 11 when the clamping jaw 12 is mounted, as shown in FIG Figures 10 and 11 is shown.
- the contact sections 17, 18 are each shaped as webs with a convex cross section and protrude in the direction of the clamping jaw 12. As can be seen in particular from the front views of FIG Figure 10b and 11b As can be seen, these webs are designed differently: while the one contact section 18 is approximately in alignment with the edge of the clamping jaw 12 facing the plate 3, the other contact section 17 is arranged set back by a few millimeters. This ensures that the clamping fitting 4 can be used for plates 3 with two different thicknesses d 1 , d 2 without the gap between the base body 11 and the clamping jaw 12 having to be filled with additional spacer inserts.
- the clamping fitting 4 is set for a plate 3 with a greater thickness d 1 by the clamping jaw 12 being mounted in such a way that its contact section 18 protruding closer to the base body 11 is effective, ie makes contact with the contact surface 16 of the base body 11.
- the clamping surfaces are of the base body 11 and the clamping jaw 12 are spaced apart so that a plate 3 with a greater thickness d 1 can be accommodated.
- the clamping fitting 4 is set for a plate 3 with a smaller thickness d 2 in that the clamping jaw 12 is mounted in such a way that its contact section 17, which is further away from the base body 11, is effective, that is, makes contact with the contact surface 16 of the base body 11.
- the clamping surfaces of the base body 11 and the clamping jaw 12 are thus spaced apart in such a way that a plate 3 with a smaller thickness d 2 can be accommodated without additional spacer inserts having to be inserted.
- the bottom of the two through bores 26 is always used for the clamping screw 27, since this is in the assembly position of the clamping jaw 12 at the level of the receiving groove 19 of the base body 11, in which the hammer head nut 22 having the internal thread 25 then engages.
- the surface of the clamping jaw facing away from the plate 3 can have markings 40 which identify the through bores 26 for the respective thickness d x of the plate 3.
- the through-hole 28 located above is used, this is located in the assembly position of the clamping jaw 12 at the level of the screw channel 31 of the base body 11, in which the shaft of the locking screw 29 then engages.
