Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a hinged roof flap with integrated Drehlafette and, if desired, a mounted weapon for vehicle roofs, especially for truck cabs. Through the roof flap, the weapon is brought into its operative position and in a transport position, that is, pivoted. The stable roof flap can be supported in the front roof area on a frame or on a roof reinforcement, which can also serve as a reinforcement for the cab roof.

The aforementioned approaches of hinged Lafettierung are structurally quite complex.

Fahrerhausdach vorzusehen. Here, the invention has the object to provide a simple Lafettierung a weapon on a vehicle or cab roof.
The object is achieved by the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are shown in the subclaims.
The invention is based on the idea to use an existing on the vehicle roof flap and to install on this a Drehlafette for Aufinahmemöglichkeit a weapon. The sturdy roof flap is supported in the front roof area on a frame or on a roof reinforcement, which can also serve as a reinforcement for the cab roof. The weapon can in turn be folded in and out together with the roof flap. The weapon is mounted in continuation of the idea with folded roof flap so that the weapon can be moved laterally. As a result, the space can be released for the seat of the shooter or another passenger.
The roof flap, which also serves to reinforce the weapon support, is not in the unfolded state in the way, so that the roof remains accessible. When not in use and in the folded state, the weapon is in the vehicle interior and thus protected from various weather conditions. The center of gravity of the vehicle is lower and the weapon does not exert so much force on the vehicle roof with its weight as if it had been mounted in the uppermost position. This feature is beneficial at high vehicle speeds or off-road driving. It is understood that weapons are preferably attached to the roof flap, which are not larger than the dimension of the roof flap itself. If, however, a longer weapon are provided, make sure that at least the gun barrel is removable, which reduces the length of the weapon.
