Abstract
Description
Durch die Differenz der Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizienten des Maschinengehäuses und des Verbindungselementes wird im warmen Betriebszustand der Brennkraftmaschine eine statische Druckspannung im Übergangsradius beidseitig des Lagerstuhls am Übergang zu den Gehäusewänden generiert. Diese statische Druckvorspannung ermöglicht eine deutlich höhere dynamische Druck- bzw. Zugbetriebsbelastung, wodurch bei dauerfester Auslegung des Maschinengehäuses der Auslegungszünddruck, der maximale Zylinderinnendruck, entsprechend angehoben werden kann. Damit kann bei gegebenem Bauraum und Gewicht die Leistungsdichte von Brennkraftmaschinen wesentlich erhöht werden, wodurch in vorteilhafter Weise der Wirkungsgrad der Brennkraftmaschine verbessert wird.

Claims (6)
- Maschinengehäuse (1), insbesondere Zylinderkurbelgehäuse, für eine Brennkraftmaschine, in dem sich zwischen zwei gegenüberliegenden Gehäusewänden (3, 3') zumindest ein Lagerstuhl (2, 2') für eine Welle erstreckt und die Gehäusewände (3, 3') über ein Verbindungselement (4, 4') in Richtung des Lagerstuhls (2, 2') versteift sind,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Maschinengehäuse (1) aus einem Material mit einem größeren Wärmeausdehnungskoeffizient als das Verbindungselement (4, 4') ist. - Maschinengehäuse nach Patentanspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verbindungselement (4, 4') für zumindest einen Lagerbereich (2, 2') vorgesehen ist. - Maschinengehäuse nach einem der zuvor genannten Patentansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verbindungselement (4, 4') lösbar mit den Gehäusewänden (3, 3') verbunden ist. - Maschinengehäuse nach einem der zuvor genannten Patentansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verbindungselement (4, 4') aus einem Stahl-, Kunststoff- oder Sintermaterial ist. - Maschinengehäuse nach einem der zuvor genannten Patentansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Maschinengehäuse (1) aus einem Leichtmetall ist. - Maschinengehäuse nach einem der zuvor genannten Patentansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Welle eine Kurbelwelle ist.
