  • the tray T has a variable width x so as to suit carriageway.
  • the upper edges of the tray walls 3 are returned to give additional support to the leading/impact face of the tray T, which is exposed to the traffic wheels. This detail provides a natural road break which satisfies current legislation and will prevent the wear course from deteriorating.
  • Fig. 5 shows a variation wherein the plinth is reversible and able to rotate through 180 degrees. This allows the slab to be used twice.

Claims (18)

  1. Appareil de sécurité routière comprenant
    un plateau (T) conçu en vue d'un montage permanent dans un évidement ménagé dans une surface de roulement (R), le plateau comportant une surface de support et des parois ;
    un socle rigide (P) conçu pour être logé à l'intérieur de la surface de support et des parois du plateau (T), et pour être soutenu par ceux-ci ;
    un dispositif déformable de ralentissement de la circulation (D) qui définit un volume d'air (S) sous le profil de celui-ci ; caractérisé en ce que l'appareil comprend en outre
    des moyens de scellement pour sceller le dispositif déformable (D) au socle (P).
  2. Appareil selon la revendication 1, le plateau (T) possédant une surface inférieure pleine.
  3. Appareil selon la revendication 1, le plateau (T) étant ouvert.
  4. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, l'appareil procurant une résilience efficace afin de réduire la transmission des vibrations depuis les roues du véhicule à la chaussée et à l'environnement avoisinant.
  5. Appareil selon la revendication 4, ladite résilience étant obtenue grâce à une garniture élastique.
  6. Appareil selon la revendication 5, ladite garniture étant livrée sous la forme d'un composant individuel.
  7. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, le socle (P) étant réutilisable.
  8. Appareil selon la revendication 7, le socle (P) étant réversible ce qui permet de monter un nouveau dispositif déformable (D) après l'usure d'un premier dispositif déformable.
  9. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, une partie au moins de l'appareil étant colorée en fonction de la couleur de la surface de roulement (R) à l'endroit où il est utilisé.
  10. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, le socle (P) étant réversible afin d'offrir différentes caractéristiques, à condition que le plateau (T) et l'évidement soient conçus de manière à recevoir une partie, quelle qu'elle soit, susceptible de faire saillie depuis le côté inverse du socle lorsque l'autre côté est en utilisation.
  11. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, ledit appareil comprenant en outre un socle nu (P) conçu pour être monté dans le plateau de sorte à procurer une surface de roulement plane.
  12. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, le socle (P) étant muni de réceptacles (E) pour un équipement de levage, afin de faciliter le montage et la dépose de dispositifs.
  13. Appareil selon la revendication 12, les réceptacles (E) comprenant des trous de boulon pour monter de façon temporaire des oeillets ou dispositifs similaires.
  14. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant en outre des moyens pour sceller le plateau (T) sur la surface de roulement (R).
  15. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant en outre une feuille perdue qui est positionnée entre le socle (P) et le dispositif (D).
  16. Procédé d'installation d'un dispositif déformable de ralentissement de la circulation (D) dans une surface de roulement (R) comprenant les opérations consistant à :
    mettre à disposition un dispositif déformable et amovible de ralentissement de la circulation (D) possédant une taille et une forme prédéterminées et un socle (P) ;
    mettre à disposition un plateau rigide (T) dont les surfaces internes sont conçues suivant une taille, une forme et une robustesse aptes à recevoir et à soutenir le socle (P) ;
    effectuer l'excavation d'un évidement d'une taille et d'une forme prédéterminées dans une surface de roulement, qui soit suffisante pour recevoir le plateau rigide (T) à un niveau désiré dans la surface de roulement ;
    installer solidement le plateau (T) dans l'évidement et
    abaisser le socle (P) dans le plateau (T) ;
    caractérisé en ce que le dispositif de ralentissement de la circulation (D) est préscellé sur le socle (P).
  17. Procédé selon la revendication 16, comprenant en outre la dépose à une date ultérieure du socle (P) et son remplacement par un autre socle pendant que le plateau (T) reste solidement installé dans la route.
  18. Procédé selon les revendications 16 ou 17, ledit procédé comprenant une partie d'un programme d'installation de dispositifs de réduction de la vitesse (D), cas dans lequel un certain nombre de plateaux (7) et de socles nus (P) sont d'abord installés à l'aide dudit procédé, et à une date ultérieure les socles nus (P) sont remplacés par des socles munis de dispositifs de ralentissement de la circulation (D) pré-scellés.
