Abstract

Bei einem an einer Wanne, einer Duschtasse (3) oder bodenbündig angeordneten Abschluss (1) für ein Seitenteil oder eine Tür (2) einer sanitären Einrichtung wird zum leichteren Auswechseln vorgeschlagen, dass der Abschluss (1) zweiteilig ausgebildet ist und aus einem mit der Wanne, der Duschtasse (3) oder bodenbündig verklebten oder verschraubten Basisteil (4) und einem mittels eines Clipverschlusses lösbar mit dem Basisteil (4) verbundenen Dichtungsprofil (6) besteht. <IMAGE>

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen an einer Wanne, einer Duschtasse oder bodenbündig angeordneten Abschluss für ein Seitenteil oder eine Tür einer sanitären Einrichtung.
Bei aus der Praxis bekannten Vorrichtungen ist der Abschluss beispielsweise durch ein Dichtungsprofil gebildet, welches unmittelbar mit der Oberfläche einer Wanne oder Duschtasse verklebt ist. Gegen das vorgenannte Dichtungsprofil legt sich das Blatt einer Tür - vorzugsweise einer Glasscheibe - mittelbar an, wobei die untere Stirnseite des Türblattes von einem Abtropfprofil umschlossen wird, welches unmittelbar an dem mit der Duschtasse verklebten Dichtungsprofil zur Anlage gelangt.
Es ist ferner bekannt, auf der Oberfläche einer Duschtasche oder Wanne aus Plexiglas oder Edelstahl bestehende Profilleisten oder Profilstäbe mittels Verklebung fest anzuordnen, gegen die sich in der vorbeschriebenen Weise ein die untere Stirnseite einer Glastür umschließendes Abtropfprofil dichtend anlegt.
Den vorbeschriebenen Ausführungsformen haftet der Nachteil an, dass die eigentliche Dichtung jeweils durch das die untere Stirnkante der Tür umschließende Abtropfprofil erfolgt. Da derartige Abtropfprofile durch Verkleben oder Verschrauben kraftschlüssig mit dem Türblatt - beispielsweise einer Glasscheibe - verbunden werden müssen, sind sie bei Verschleiß nur mit entsprechendem Aufwand auswechselbar.
Darüber hinaus ist aus der GB 2 348 805 A ein Dichtungsprofil bekannt, das mittels eines Dichtungsmaterials an einer Wanne oder einer Duschtasse klebend befestigt wird. Eine Demontage des Dichtungsprofiles, z. B. für Reinigungszwecke, ist nur durch Zerstörung des Dichtungsmaterials möglich, so dass anschließend eine erneute aufwendige Montage notwendig ist.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, einen Abschluss der eingangs genannten Gattung vorzuschlagen, bei dem bei zuverlässiger Abdichtung das die Tür - oder auch ein feststehendes Seitenteil - gegenüber einer Wanne, einer Duschtasse oder auch dem Boden abdichtende Dichtprofil bei Verschleiß oder zu Reinigungszwecken bei entsprechender Verschmutzung leicht auswechselbar ist. Dabei soll auf das Erfordernis eines zusätzlichen Abtropfprofiles an einer Tür oder einem Seitenteil verzichtet werden.
Die Erfindung löst die gestellte Aufgabe mit der Lehre nach Anspruch 1.
Der hiernach zweiteilig ausgebildete Abschluss ist ausschließlich an einer Wanne, einer Duschtasse oder bodenbündig angeordnet und besteht aus einem mit der Wanne, der Duschtasse oder bodenbündig verklebten oder verschraubten Basisteil und einem mittels eines Clipverschlusses lösbar mit dem Basisteil verbundenen Dichtungsprofil. Zwischen dem Basisteil - das praktisch keinem Verschleiß unterliegt - und dem eigentlichen Dichtungsprofil besteht somit eine als Schnellschlussverbindung ausgebildete lösbare Verbindung, so dass das Dichtungsprofil ohne nennenswerten Aufwand vom Basisteil gelöst, gereinigt oder durch ein neues Dichtungsprofil ersetzt werden kann. Für die konstruktive Ausgestaltung, sowohl des Basisteiles als auch des Dichtungsprofiles, sind beliebige Ausführungsformen denkbar, wesentlich ist eine Ausbildung des Dichtungsprofiles im Anlagebereich an der unteren Stirnkante des Türblattes derart, dass auf ein am Türblatt angeordnetes Abtropfprofil verzichtet werden kann. Gleiches gilt für die Ausgestaltung des Clipverschlusses; hier muss lediglich gewährleistet sein, dass der Clipverschluss einerseits einen festen Sitz des Dichtungsprofiles am Basisteil gewährleistet und andererseits ein Lösen des Dichtungsprofiles vom Basisteil ermöglicht.
Weitere Ausgestaltungsformen der Erfindung kennzeichnen sich durch die Merkmale der Unteransprüche.
Da das Basisteil die Halterung für das Dichtungsprofil bildet, kann es vorteilhaft aus Metall, vorzugsweise Aluminium, oder einem Kunststoff, mit relativ geringer Elastizität bestehen, während das Dichtungsprofil aus einem Kunststoff mit gegenüber dem Basisteil relativ großer Elastizität, beispielsweise aus Silikon oder Gummi besteht. Die Elastizität des Dichtungsprofiles ist dabei so bemessen, dass das Türblatt beim Überlaufen des Dichtungsprofiles dieses geringfügig verformt, so dass ein wasserdichter Abschluss gewährleistet ist.
Nach einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltungsform umgreift das Dichtungsprofil das Basisteil oberseitig und seitlich derart, dass das Dichtungsprofil zwei das Basisteil seitlich umgreifende Schenkel aufweist, deren Stirnflächen an der Oberfläche der Wanne oder Duschtasse oder bodenbündig anliegen. Es ist ersichtlich, dass hierdurch ein dichter Abschluss im Bereich der Oberfläche einer Wanne oder Duschtasse gewährleistet ist, ohne dass eine Abdichtung der vorgenannten Schenkel des Dichtungsprofiles gegenüber der Wanne oder Duschtasse mittels Silikon erforderlich ist.
In der Praxis hat sich gezeigt, dass ein zuverlässiger Clipverschluss realisiert werden kann, wenn das Basisteil wenigstens zwei gegenüberliegende Nuten für den Eingriff komplementärer Leisten des Dichtungsprofiles aufweist, wobei die Ausbildung der Nuten und Leisten so aufeinander abgestimmt ist, dass die das Basisteil umgreifenden Schenkel des Dichtungsprofiles mit ausreichendem Druck der Oberfläche, der Wanne oder Duschtasse anliegen.
Zur Gewährleistung eines guten Abschlusses des Dichtungsprofiles gegenüber einem Seitenteil oder einer Tür kennzeichnet die Erfindung sich weiterhin dadurch, dass das Dichtungsprofil an seinem dem Basisteil abgewandten freien Ende eine elastische der Stirnseite des Seitenteiles oder der Tür anliegende Dichtlippe aufweist. Alternativ kann das Dichtungsprofil an seinem dem Basisteil abgewandten freien Ende einen Anschlagschenkel für ein Seitenteil oder eine Tür aufweisen.
Im Ergebnis wird ein Abschluss der eingangs genannten Gattung vorgeschlagen, bei dem mit baulich einfachen Mitteln eine zuverlässige Abdichtung geschaffen wird, wobei das die eigentliche Abdichtung bewirkende, dem Verschleiß bzw. der Verschmutzung unterliegende Dichtungsprofil leicht auswechselbar ist.
Die Erfindung wird nachfolgend anhand von zwei schematisch dargestellten möglichen Ausführungsbeispielen näher erläutert.

Ein allgemein mit 1 bezeichneter Abschluss gemäß Figuren 1 und 2 besteht aus einem Basisteil 4 und einem auswechselbaren Dichtungsprofil 6, die mittels eines allgemeinen mit 5 bezeichneten Clipverschlusses miteinander lösbar verbunden sind. Der Clipverschluss 5 besteht aus zwei am Basisteil 4 angeordneten, gegenüberliegenden Nuten 11, in die komplementäre Leisten 12 des Dichtungsprofiles 6 eingreifen. Das Dichtungsprofil 6 umgreift das Basisteil 4 oberseitig und seitlich, wobei das Basisteil 4 seitlich umgreifende Schenkel 7 und 8 (Figur 1) bzw. (Figur 2) ausgebildet sind, deren Stirnflächen 9, wie aus Figur 3 ersichtlich, beispielsweise an der Oberfläche 10 einer Duschtasse 3 verbindungslos anliegen, während das Basisteil 4 im Bereich seiner abgeschrägten Kanten 17 fest mit der in der Figur 3 dargestellten Duschtasse 3 verklebt sein kann. Diese Verbindung 22 kann z. B. durch einen geeigneten Kleber realisiert werden.
Während im Ausführungsbeispiel nach Figur 1 im Bereich eines freien Endes 13 des Dichtungsprofiles 6 eine Dichtlippe 14 angeordnet ist, ist im Ausführungsbeispiel nach Figur 2 an dem Dichtungsprofil 6 ein Anschlagschenkel 15 angeordnet, gegen den sich in Pfeilrichtung Z (Schließrichtung) das Blatt einer Tür 2, beispielsweise eine Glasscheibe, anlegen kann.
Figur 3 verdeutlicht den Abschluss zwischen dem Dichtungsprofil 6 und einer Tür 2, wobei erkennbar ist, dass die Stirnseite 20 der Tür 2 an der Oberseite 21 des Dichtungsprofiles 6 anliegt. Mit 18 sind schematisch die Pfeilrichtungen einfallender Wasserstrahlen angedeutet, die von der konkaven Krümmung 19 des sichelförmigen Dichtungsprofiles 6 reflektiert werden.
In der Figur 4 verdeutlicht das Maß y die Höhe des Dichtungsprofiles 6 im entspannten Zustand, während das Maß x, das geringfügig komprimierte Dichtungsprofil 6 nach dem Überlaufen der Dichtlippe 14 durch die Tür in Schließrichtung (Pfeil z) zeigt. Die Bezugslinie 16 symbolisiert dabei die Oberfläche einer Wanne, einer Duschtasse oder eines Bodens.

Claims (7)

  1. An einer Wanne, einer Duschtasse oder bodenbündig angeordneter Abschluss für ein Seitenteil oder eine Tür einer sanitären Einrichtung, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Abschluss (1) zweiteilig ausgebildet ist und aus einem mit der Wanne, der Duschtasse (3) oder bodenbündig verklebten oder verschraubten Basisteil (4) und einem mittels eines Clipverschlusses (5) lösbar mit dem Basisteil (4) verbundenen Dichtungsprofil (6) besteht.
  2. Abschluss nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Basisteil (4) aus Metall, vorzugsweise Aluminium, oder einem Kunststoff, mit relativ geringer Elastizität und das Dichtungsprofil (6) aus einem Kunststoff mit gegenüber dem Basisteil (4) relativ großer Elastizität, aus Silikon oder Gummi, besteht.
  3. Abschluss nach Anspruch 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Dichtungsprofil (6) das Basisteil (4) oberseitig und/oder seitlich umgreift.
  4. Abschluss nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Dichtungsprofil (6) zwei das Basisteil (4) seitlich umgreifende Schenkel (7, 8, 7', 8') aufweist, deren Stirnflächen (9) an der Oberfläche (10) der Wanne oder Duschtasse (3) oder bodenbündig anliegen.
  5. Abschluss nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Basisteil (4) wenigstens zwei gegenüberliegende Nuten (11) für den Eingriff komplementärer Leisten (12) des Dichtungsprofiles (6) aufweist.
  6. Abschluss nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Dichtungsprofil (6) an seinem dem Basisteil (4) abgewandten freien Ende (13) eine elastische, der Stirnseite (20) des Seitenteiles oder der Tür (2) anliegende Dichtlippe (14) aufweist.
  7. Abschluss nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Dichtungsprofil (6) an seinem dem Basisteil (4) abgewandten freien Ende (13) einen Anschlagschenkel (15) für ein Seitenteil oder eine Tür (2) aufweist.
