mutually opposite first and second sides (8),

mutually opposite third and fourth sides (9) positioned substantially at right angles with respect to the first and second sides (8),

and four intermediate sides (10) which connect the first, second, third and fourth sides (8, 9) two-by-two,
the first end face (3) comprising :

first and second semi-octagonal flaps (11, 12) which are articulated respectively to the first and second sides (8) of the first belt, these semi-octagonal flaps extending respectively from the first and second sides of the first belt to the facing end edges (11a, 12a), each semi-octagonal flap having first and second slots (13) provided perpendicularly to the first and second sides (8) of the first belt and emerging in the end edge of the said semi-octagonal flap, the first slots of the two semi-octagonal flaps being positioned in the extension of each other, and the second slots of the two semi-octagonal flaps being also positioned in the extension of each other,

four substantially triangular flaps (18) which are articulated to the four intermediate sides (10) of the first belt and which partially cover the two semi-octagonal flaps (11, 12) towards the outside of the package,

and first and second locking flaps (20) which are articulated on the third and fourth sides (9) of the first belt, each of the locking flaps partially covering the two semi-octagonal flaps (11, 12) and two of the substantially triangular flaps (18) towards the outside of the package, the first locking flap being engaged in the first slots (13) of the semi-octagonal flaps and the second locking flap being engaged in the second slots (13) of the semi-octagonal flaps, the first belt (7) being formed in one piece with the flaps (11, 12, 18, 20) of the first end face, characterised in that the end edge (11a, 12a) of each semi-octagonal flap forms at least first and second interlocking tongues (16, 17) extending towards the opposite semi-octagonal flap, the first interlocking tongue (16) of the first semi-octagonal flap (11) covering the first interlocking tongue (16) of the second semi-octagonal flap (12) towards the outside of the package, while the second interlocking tongue (17) of the second semi-octagonal flap (12) covers the second interlocking tongue (17) of the first semi-octagonal flap (12) towards the outside of the package, the substantially triangular flaps (18) partially covering the corresponding slots (13) of the semi-octagonal flaps (11, 12).
Package according to claim 1, wherein the height (H1) of the first belt (7) is greater than 70 % of total height (H) of the chamber.
Package according to claim I or claim 2, wherein the belt (2) additionally includes a second octagonal belt (21) which cooperates by mutually fitting into the first belt (7) and which comprises:

first, second, third and fourth sides (8, 8) positioned in correspondence with the first, second, third and fourth sides (8, 9) of the first belt,

and four intermediate sides (10) positioned in correspondence with the four intermediate sides (10) of the first belt,
the second end face having :

first and second semi-octagonal flaps (11, 12) which are articulated respectively to the first and second sides (8) of the second belt and which are formed in one piece with the second belt (21), these semi-octagonal flaps extending respectively from the first and second sides (8) of the second belt to the facing end edges (11a, 12a), each semi-octagonal flap (11, 12) of the second end face having first and second slots (13) provided perpendicularly to the first and second sides (8) of the first belt and emerging in the end edge (11a, 12a) of the said semi-octagonal flap, the first slots of the two semi-octagonal flaps being positioned in the extension of each other and the second slots of the two semi-octagonal flaps being also positioned in the extension of each other,

four substantially triangular flaps (18) which are articulated to the four intermediate sides (10) of the second belt and which partially cover the two semi-octagonal flaps (11, 12) towards the outside of the package, these substantially triangular flaps being formed in one piece with the second belt (21),

and first and second locking flaps (20) which are articulated on the third and fourth sides of the second belt and which are formed in one piece with the said second belt, each of the locking flaps partially covering the two semi-octagonal flaps (11, 12) and two of the substantially triangular flaps (18) towards the outside of the package, the first locking flap (20) being engaged in the first slots (13) of the semi-octagonal flaps and the second locking flap (20) being engaged in the second slots (13) of the semi-octagonal flaps, the end edge (11a, 12a) of each semi-octagonal flap of the second belt forming at least first and second interlocking tongues (16, 17) extending towards the opposite semi-octagonal flap, the first interlocking tongue (16) of the first semi-octagonal flap (11) covering the first interlocking tongue (16) of the second semi-octagonal flap (12) towards the outside of the package, while the second interlocking tongue (17) of the second semi-octagonal flap (12) covers the second interlocking tongue (17) of the first semi-octagonal flap (1) towards the outside of the package.
Package according to claim 3, wherein the second belt (21) has a height (H2) of between 30 % and 100% of the height (H1) of the first belt.
Package according to claim 3 or claim 4, wherein the second belt (21) and the second end face (4) form a lid fitted onto the first belt (7).
Package according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the first interlocking tongue (16) of the first semi-octagonal flap (11) is separated from the first side (8) by a first distance (12) which is greater than a second distance (11) separating the first interlocking tongue (16) of the second semi-octagonal flap (12) from the second side (8), while the second interlocking tongue (17) and the first semi-octagonal flap (11) is separated from the first side (8) by a third distance (11) which is less than a fourth distance (12) separating the second interlocking tongue (17) of the second semi-octagonal flap (12) from the second side (8).
Package according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein each semi-octagonal flap (11, 12) has two second interlocking tongues (17) straddling the first interlocking tongue (16).
Package according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein each locking flap (20) forms a substantially rigid single flap.
