Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel für Zigaretten mit einem Schachtelteil zur Aufnahme eines Zigarettenblocks, einem mit einer Rückwand des Schachtelteils schwenkbar verbundenen Deckel und einem mit dem Schachtelteil verbundenen Kragen aus Kragen-Vorderwand und Kragen-Seitenwänden.
Bei Klappschachteln, die auch als Hinge-Lid-Packungen bezeichnet werden, handelt es sich um einen weitverbreiteten Verpackungstyp für Zigaretten. Die Klappschachtel besteht aus einem Schachtelteil und einem an einer Rückwand des Schachtelteils verschwenkbar angeordneten Deckel. Am Schachtelteil ist ein Kragen angeordnet. Der Kragen verfügt über eine Kragen-Vorderwand und Kragen-Seitenwände. Der Kragen ragt in einem oberen Abschnitt aus dem Schachtelteil heraus. Der freie Teil des Kragens wird in Schließstellung der Klappschachtel vom Deckel umschlossen. Der Kragen kann sowohl Teil eines einstückigen Zuschnitts zur Herstellung der Klappschachtel sein als auch aus einem getrennten Zuschnitt hergestellt werden. Der Packungsinhalt, nämlich eine Zigaretten-Gruppe, ist durch eine Innenumhüllung aus Stanniol oder dergleichen umgeben und bildet so einen Zigarettenblock.
Aus der US 4,948,038 ist eine Klappschachtel für Zigaretten bekannt, die im Bereich der Vorderseite des Schachtelteils eine Ausnehmung aufweist. Bei geschlossenem Deckel greifen Teile des Deckelzuschnitts in die Ausnehmung an der Schachtel-Vorderseite ein, wodurch der Deckel in dieser Schließstellung gesichert wird. Auf diese Weise soll ein Luftaustausch zwischen dem Packungsinneren und der Außenluft verhindert werden, wodurch der Packungsinhalt frisch bleiben soll.
Die DE-U-19 96 454 offenbart eine Zigarettenpackung die im Bereich einer Schachtel-Vorderwand eine Ausnehmung, nämlich ein Fenster aufweist, das durchsichtig abgedeckt ist, nämlich mit einer Folie. Die Zigaretten sind in dieser Zigaretten packung auf dem Kopf stehend angeordnet, so dass der Konsument durch einen Blick durch das Fenster den Zigarettentyp erkennen kann.
Die BE-A-739.729 zeigt eine Zigarettenpackung mit einem unbenutzten Packungsbereich der zur Aufnahme von Notizen dienen soll. Dieser Packungsbereich ist durch Perforationslinien abgegrenzt, so dass er von der Zigarettenpackung abgetrennt werden kann, wobei allerdings diese zerstört wird.
Der Erfindung liegt das Problem zu Grunde, eine Klappschachtel der eingangs genannte Art dahingehend zu verbessern, dass zusätzliche Funktionen, wie z. B. die Vermittlung von zusätzlichen Informationen erfüllt werden können.
Zur Lösung dieses Problems ist die erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel durch folgende Merkmale gekennzeichnet:
  • a) im Bereich des Deckels, nämlich im Bereich einer Deckel-Vorderwand ist eine Ausnehmung angeordnet,
  • b) die Ausnehmung ist auf der zum Zigarettenblock weisenden Seite durch Bereiche des Deckels verschlossen, insbesondere durch einen Deckel-Innenlappen,
  • c) die Ausnehmung ist nach außen durch eine aus dem Deckel heraustrennbare Abdeckung verschlossen,
  • d) die Abdeckung ist vom Deckel im Bereich einer Grifflasche der Abdeckung durch einen durchgehenden Trennschnitt und im Übrigen durch eine Perforationslinie begrenzt.
    • Im Bereich der Ausnehmung können die Bereich des Deckels einen Aufdruck tragen. Alternativ oder in Ergänzung kann auch die Abdeckung auf nach außen weisenden Seite und/oder auf der zum Zigarettenblock weisenden Seite eine Bedruckung oder dergleichen aufweisen. Es kann sich hierbei um Werbeinformationen, einen Gutschein oder eine flächige, graphische Gestaltung handeln.
    Eine weitere erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel weist zur Lösung des eingangs genannten Problems die Merkmale des Anspruchs 2 auf. Der Unterschied zur vorstehend beschriebenen Lösung besteht darin, dass die Ausnehmung nicht im Bereich des Deckels sondern im Bereich der Schachtel-Vorderwand angeordnet ist, nämlich unterhalb einer Schließkante des Schachtelteils, und auf der zum Zigarettenblock weisenden durch Bereiche eines verlängerten Kragens abgedeckt ist.
    Bevorzugte Weiterbildungen ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen und der Beschreibung. Anhand der Zeichnungen wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung näher erläutert. In der Zeichnung zeigt:

    Die Fig. 1 bis 6 zeigen Klappschachteln für Zigaretten, wobei in Fig. 2 und Fig. 4 bis 6 eine erfindungsgemäße Klappschachtel gezeigt ist. Die in Fig. 1 und 3 gezeigte Klappschachtel dient lediglich zur Erläuterung der Erfindung. Eine Zigaretten-Gruppe ist als Packungsinhalt von einer Innenumhüllung aus Papier oder Stanniol umgeben und bildet so einen Zigarettenblock. Da die Klappschachteln über einen weitgehend gleichen Aufbau verfügen, werden im folgenden für gleiche Elemente gleiche Bezugsziffem verwendet.
    Die Klappschachteln 10, 11 bestehen jeweils aus einem Schachtelteil 12 und einem Deckel 13. Die Schachtelteile 12 verfügen über eine Vorderwand 14, Rückwand 15, Seitenwände 16, 17 und eine Bodenwand 18. Die Seitenwände 16, 17 werden jeweils aus inneren Seitenlappen 19, 20 und äußeren Seitenlappen 21, 22 eines einstückigen Zuschnitts 23 bzw. 24 zur Bildung von Schachtelteil 12 und Deckel 13 der Klappschachtel 10 bzw. 11 gebildet.
    Die Deckel 13 bestehen jeweils aus Deckel-Vorderwand 25, Dekkel-Rückwand 26, Deckel-Seitenwänden 27, 28 und einer Deckel-Oberwand 29. Die Deckel-Seitenwände 27, 28 werden ebenso wie die Seitenwände 16, 17 durch sich überlappende innere Deckel-Seitenlappen 30, 31 sowie äußere Deckel-Seitenlappen 32, 33 gebildet.
    Die jeweiligen Deckel 13 sind im Bereich der Deckel-Rückwand 26 über jeweils eine Gelenklinie 34 schwenkbar mit der Rückwand 15 des Schachtelteils 12 verbunden.
    Im Schachtelteil 12 der Klappschachteln 10, 11 sitzt jeweils ein Kragen 35 mit Kragen-Vorderwand 36 und Kragen-Seitenwänden 37, 38. Die Kragen-Vorderwand 36 ist mit der Vorderwand 14 des Schachtelteils 12 insbesondere durch Klebung verbunden. Die Kragen-Seitenwände 37, 38 liegen an der Innenseite der Seitenwände 16, 17 bzw. an den inneren Seitenlappen 19, 20 an und sind gegebenenfalls mit diesen durch Klebung verbunden.
    Von Bedeutung für die Klappschachteln 10, 11 sind weiterhin Ecklappen. Es handelt sich hierbei um Boden-Ecklappen 39, 40 einerseits und Deckel-Ecklappen 41, 42 andererseits. Die Boden-Ecklappen 39, 40 sind mit den angrenzenden, innenliegenden Seitenlappen 19, 20 verbunden, die Deckel-Ecklappen 41, 42 mit den innenliegenden Deckel-Seitenlappen 30, 31.
    Zu den Klappschachteln 10, 11 bzw. Zuschnitten 23, 24 gehören weiterhin jeweils ein Deckel-Innenlappen 43, der sich an die Deckel-Vorderwand 25 anschließt. Bei fertiggefalteter Klappschachtel 10, 11 ist der Deckel-Innenlappen 43 gegen eine Innenseite der Deckel-Vorderwand 25 umgefaltet.
    Die von den Klappschachteln 10, 11 aufgenommenen Zigaretten 44 zeigt Fig. 6. Der aus den Zigaretten 44 gebildete Zigarettenblock 45 ist in Fig. 1 und 2 durch Strichpunkt-Linien angedeutet.
    Die Besonderheit der Klappschachtel 10 gemäß Fig. 1 besteht darin, daß dieselbe einerseits im Bereich einer Wandung des Schachtelteils 11, nämlich der Vorderwand 14, und andererseits im Bereich einer Wandung des Deckels 13, nämlich der Deckel-Vorderwand 25, Ausnehmungen 46, 47 aufweist. Die Ausnehmungen 46, 47 der Klappschachtel 10 sind aus Vorderwand 14 sowie Dekkel-Vorderwand 25 herausgestanzt. Durchgehende Stanzlinien 48, 49 grenzen demnach die Ausnehmungen 46, 47 von Vorderwand 14 und Deckel-Vorderwand 25 ab.
    Die Ausnehmungen 46, 47 der Klappschachtel 10 gemäß Fig. 1 sind nach außen hin offen und auf der zum Zigarettenblock 45 weisenden Seite verschlossen. In dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Ausnehmung 46 im Bereich der Vorderwand 14 auf der zum Zigarettenblock 45 weisenden Seite durch einen Bereich des Kragens 35, nämlich der Kragen-Vorderwand 36, verschlossen. Die Ausnehmung 47 im Bereich der Deckel-Vorderwand 25 hingegen ist durch einen Bereich des Deckels 13, nämlich des Deckel-Innenlappens 43, auf der zum Zigarettenblock 45 weisenden Seite verschlossen.
    In den Bereichen 50 bzw. 51, in denen Kragen-Vorderwand 36 bzw. Deckel-Innenlappen 43 die Ausnehmungen 46 bzw. 47 überlappen, dienen Kragen-Vorderwand 36 bzw. Deckel-Innenlappen 43 als Träger für einen Aufdruck. Die Bereiche 50, 51 von Kragen-Vorderwand 36 sowie Deckel-Innenlappen 43 sind in Fig. 3, 5 durch Strichpunkt-Linien begrenzt. Der Aufdruck in den Bereichen 50, 51 von Kragen-Vorderwand 36 sowie Deckel-Innenlappen 43 ist zum Beispiel ein Gutschein aus Wort- und/oder Bildbestandteilen. Es kann sich hierbei um einen Gutschein, Berechtigungsschein zur Teilnahme an Wettbewerben, Ausschreibungen oder dergleichen handeln. Der Kragen 35 bzw. die Kragen-Vorderwand 36 müssen hierzu auf ihrer Vorderseite bedruckt werden. Der Deckel-Innenlappen 43 hingegen ist auf seiner Rückseite zu bedrucken. Dies folgt aus dem Umstand, daß bei fertiggefalteten Klappschachteln der Deckel-Innenlappen durch Umfalten an der Deckel-Vorderwand 25 zur Anlage kommt.
    Beim gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist die Ausnehmung 46 im Bereich der Vorderwand 14 des Schachtelteils 12 verhältnismäßig großflächig ausgebildet. Als Folge verfügt der Kragen 35 demnach über eine größere Höhe als bei herkömmlichen Klappschachteln. Im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist der Kragen 35, nämlich dessen Kragen-Vorderwand 36, annähernd bis in den Bereich der Bodenwand 18 verlängert. Darüber hinaus erstreckt sich der Deckel-Innenlappen 43 über die volle Höhe der Deckel-Vorderwand 36.
    Die Klappschachtel 11 gemäß Fig. 2 verfügt ebenfalls über Ausnehmungen im Bereich des Schachtelteils 12 sowie Deckels 13. Eine erste Ausnehmung 52 ist der Vorderwand 14 des Schachtelteils 12 zugeordnet, eine zweite Ausnehmung 53 der Deckel-Vorderwand 25 des Deckels 13. Im Unterschied zur Klappschachtel 10 gemäß Fig. 1 sind die Ausnehmungen 52, 53 der Klappschachtel 11 jedoch nach außen verschlossen. Hierzu dient jeweils eine aus der Vorderwand 14 bzw. aus der Deckel-Vorderwand 25 heraustrennbare Abdeckung 54, 55. Die Abdeckungen 54 bzw. 55 sind Teil der Vorderwand 14 bzw. Deckel-Vorderwand 25. Über eine durch durchgehende Trennschnitte 56, 57 begrenzte Grifflaschen 58, 59 können die Abdeckungen 54, 55 vom Verbraucher erfaßt und herausgetrennt werden. Hierzu sind die Abdeckungen 54, 55 von Vorderwand 14 einerseits und Deckel-Vorderwand 25 andererseits im übrigen durch Perforationslinien 60, 61 begrenzt. Die Ausnehmungen 52, 53 im Bereich des Schachtelteils 12 bzw. Deckels 13 werden demnach erst durch Heraustrennen der Abdeckungen 54, 55 freigegeben.
    Die Ausnehmungen 52, 53 der Klappschachtel 11 sind ebenso wie die Ausnehmungen 46, 47 der Klappschachtel 10 auf der zum Zigarettenblock 45 weisenden Seite verschlossen. Hierzu dient der Bereich 50 der Kragen-Vorderwand 36 einerseits sowie der Bereich 51 des Deckel-Innenlappens 43 andererseits. Hinsichtlich der diesbezüglichen Details kann auf die obigen Ausführungen verwiesen werden.
    Die Abdeckungen 54, 55 der Klappschachtel 11 können sowohl auf ihrer Vorderseite als auch auf ihrer Rückseite als Träger für einen zusätzlichen Aufdruck dienen. So kann zum Beispiel auf der zum Zigarettenblock 45 weisenden Seite der Abdeckungen 54, 55 ein Gutschein oder eine Losnummer aufgedruckt sein. Erst nach dem Heraustrennen der Abdeckung 54, 55 durch den Konsumenten wird für diesen der Aufdruck sichtbar.
    In Abweichung zu den in der Zeichnung gezeigten Ausführungsbeispielen ist es weiterhin möglich, zusätzliche Ausnehmungen im Bereich der Seitenwände 16, 17 der Klappschachtel 10, 11 anzuordnen. In diesem Fall sind diese Ausnehmungen den äußeren Seitenlappen 21, 22 bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen 32, 33 zugeordnet. Die inneren Seitenlappen 19, 20 bzw. inneren Deckel-Seitenlappen 30, 31 dienen in diesem Fall dem Verschließen der Ausnehmungen auf der zum Zigarettenblock 45 weisenden Seite und als Träger für einen Aufdruck.
    Die Zuschnitte 23, 24 zur Herstellung der Klappschachteln 10, 11 zeigen Fig. 3, 4. Die Zuschnitte 23, 24 verfügen über eine insgesamt langgestreckte Gestalt. Die Wandungen des Schachtelteils 12 und des Deckels 10 der Klappschachteln 10, 11 sind wie bei einem Zuschnitt für eine herkömmliche Klappschachtel aufeinanderfolgend ausgebildet. In Längsrichtung der Zuschnitte 23, 24 sind demnach Vorderwand 14, Bodenwand 18, Rückwand 15, Deckel-Rückwand 26, Deckel-Oberwand 29 und Deckel-Vorderwand 25 aufeinanderfolgend angeordnet und durch Faltlinien definiert. Zu beiden Seiten der Vorderwand 14 und Rückwand 15 bzw. Deckel-Rückwand 26 sowie Deckel-Vorderwand 25 sind die Seitenlappen 19..22 bzw. Deckel-Seitenlappen 30..33 zur Bildung der Seitenwände 16, 17 bzw. Deckel-Seitenwände 27, 28 angeordnet. Die Boden-Ecklappen 39, 40 bzw. Deckel-Ecklappen 41, 42 schließen sich zu beiden Seiten der Bodenwand 18 bzw. Deckel-Oberwand 29 an.
    Die Zuschnitte 23, 24 werden von einer fortlaufenden Materialbahn abgetrennt. Hierbei werden auch die Ausnehmungen 47, 48 von Vorderwand 14 und Deckel-Vorderwand 25 des Zuschnitts 24 zur Herstellung der Klappschachtel 10 gebildet. Hierzu werden in den Zuschnitt 24 die Stanzlinien 48, 49 eingebracht. Beim Zuschnitt 23 werden zur Begrenzung der Abdeckungen 54, 55 Perforationslinien 60, 61 in Vorderwand 14 und Deckel-Vorderwand 25 eingebracht. Nach dem Herausstanzen einzelner Zuschnitte und dem Einbringen der Stanzlinien 48, 49 bzw. Perforationslinien 60, 61 in die Zuschnitte 23 bzw. 24 werden die Bedruckungen auf die Zuschnitte 23, 24 aufgebracht. Der Deckel-Innenlappen 43 wird hierzu im Bereich 51 auf der Rückseite bedruckt. Die Abdeckungen 54, 55 des Zuschnitts 23 können sowohl auf ihrer Vorderseite als auch auf ihrer Rückseite bedruckt werden.
    Gemäß dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel wird der Kragen 35 aus einem gesonderten Zuschnitt hergestellt. In Abweichung zu dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist es jedoch möglich, daß die Klappschachtel aus einem einstückigen Zuschnitt für Schachtelteil 12, Deckel 13 und Kragen 35 gebildet wird.

    Claims (5)

    1. Klappschachtel für Zigaretten mit einem Schachtelteil (12) zur Aufnahme eines Zigarettenblocks (45), einem mit der Rückwand (15) des Schachtelteils (12) schwenkbar verbundenen Deckel (13) und einem mit dem Schachtelteil (12) verbundenen Kragen (35) aus Kragen-Vorderwand (36) und Kragen-Seitenwänden (37, 38), gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
      a) im Bereich des Deckels (13), nämlich im Bereich einer Deckel-Vorderwand (25) ist eine Ausnehmung (53) angeordnet,
      b) die Ausnehmung (53) ist auf der zum Zigarettenblock (45) weisenden Seite durch Bereiche (51) des Deckels (13) verschlossen, insbesondere durch einen Deckel-Innenlappen (43),
      c) die Ausnehmung (53) ist nach außen durch eine aus dem Deckel (13) heraustrennbare Abdeckung (55) verschlossen,
      d) die Abdeckung (55) ist vom Deckel (13) im Bereich einer Grifflasche (59) der Abdeckung (55) durch einen durchgehenden Trennschnitt (57) und im Übrigen durch eine Perforationslinie (61) begrenzt.
    2. Klappschachtel für Zigaretten, mit einem Schachtelteil (12) zur Aufnahme eines Zigarettenblocks (45), einem mit der Rückwand (15) des Schachtelteils (12) schwenkbar verbundenen Deckel (13) und einem mit dem Schachtelteil (12) verbunden Kragen (35) aus Kragen-Vorderwand (36) und Kragen-Seitenwänden (37, 38), wobei im Bereich einer Vorderwand des Schachtelteils (12) eine Ausnehmung (52) angeordnet ist, die auf der zum Zigarettenblock weisenden Seite durch Bereiche (51) des Kragens (35) abgedeckt ist, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
      a) die Ausnehmung (52) ist unterhalb einer Schließkante des Schachtelteils (12) angeordnet,
      b) zur Abdeckung der Ausnehmung (52) ist der Kragen (35) mindestens bis in einen Bereich unterhalb der Ausnehmung (52) verlängert,
      c) die Ausnehmung (52) ist nach außen durch eine aus der Vorderwand (14) heraustrennbare Abdeckung (54) verschlossen,
      d) die Abdeckung (54) ist von der Vorderwand (14) im Bereich einer Grifflasche (58) der Abdeckung (54) durch einen durchgehenden Trennschnitt (56) und im Übrigen durch eine Perforationslinie (62) begrenzt.
    3. Klappschachtel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Ausnehmungen (52, 53) in Wandungen des Schachtelteils (12) und/oder des Deckels (13) angeordnet sind.
    4. Klappschachtel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Bereiche (50, 51) eine Bedruckung oder dergleichen aufweisen.
    5. Klappschachtel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Abdeckungen (54, 55) auf der nach außen weisenden Seite und/oder auf der zum Zigarettenblock (45) weisenden Seite eine Bedruckung oder dergleichen aufweisen.
