Abstract
Description
<実施形態1>
図1は、実施形態1に係るたばこパッケージ1の外観図である。たばこパッケージ1は、たばこ製品の一例であるフィルタシガレットを収容(包装)するソフトパッケージである。図1は、未開封のたばこパッケージ1が示されている。たばこパッケージ1は、略直方体形状の外観を有するインナパック10を含む。インナパック10は、例えば20本のシガレットが3段に重ねられて形成されたシガレット束と、このシガレット束を包み込む内包紙を有する。インナパック10の上面には、内包紙の一部を折り込むことで口折り部11が形成されている。なお、図示されていないが、インナパック10の底面側も、上面と同様に、内包紙が折り込まれている。シガレット束を包装する内包紙には、例えばアルミ蒸着紙が使用されているが、これには限定されない。例えば、フィルム貼り合わせ紙や透明フィルム、不透明フィルム、蝋紙等を用いることも可能である。また、インナパック10に収容するシガレットの本数は適宜変更できる。
また、テアテープによってQRコード(登録商標)の一部を隠蔽する場合は、QRコード(登録商標)の誤り訂正能力のレベルをM若しくはLとすることが好ましい。誤り訂正レベルが高い場合、高い復元能力を得られる反面、情報を読み取れないようにするためにQRコード(登録商標)のより広い面積を隠蔽しなければならない。たばこのパッケージにおいて、コストの増加を抑制しつつ、QRコード(登録商標)を効果的に隠蔽するには、既存のテアテープの太さをあまり変更せずにQRコード(登録商標)を隠蔽できることが好ましく、そのためには誤り訂正能力のレベルをM若しくはLとすることが好ましい。また、QRコード(登録商標)の一辺当たりのサイズを7.35~9.75mmとすることが好ましい。これにより、テアテープの幅を大きく変更せずにQRコード(登録商標)を読み取り不可とすることができる。
<実施形態2>
次に、実施形態2について説明する。図4は、実施形態2に係るたばこパッケージ1の外観図である。図4には、開封前のたばこパッケージ1Aが示されている。ここでは、図1で説明したたばこパッケージ1と本実施形態に係るたばこパッケージ1Aとの相違部分を中心に説明する。本実施形態に係るたばこパッケージ1Aにおいても、エンベロープ12の外面に表示されている情報コード3の少なくとも一部を隠蔽する隠蔽部4Aを備えている。本実施形態においても、隠蔽部4Aは、パッケージの全体を覆う外装材である外装フィルム16の一部として形成されている。本実施形態における隠蔽部4Aは、外装フィルム16に不透明インキで印刷された印刷領域(以下、「不透明インキ印刷部」という)によって構成されている。すなわち、隠蔽部4Aは、開封テープ21によって情報コード3を隠蔽する代わりに、外装フィルム16における不透明インキ印刷部によって情報コード3を隠蔽している。なお、たばこパッケージ1Aにおいても、情報コード3の隠蔽率は、情報コード3の誤り訂正能力のレベルに対応付けて設定されている復元率よりも大きく設定されている。

Claims (5)
- たばこ製品を包装する包装体と、
前記包装体の外面に表示され、読み取り装置によって読み取り可能な情報コードと、
前記包装体を包みこむ透明の外装フィルムと、
前記外装フィルムの一部として形成され、且つ、前記情報コードの少なくとも一部を隠蔽する隠蔽部と、
を備えるたばこパッケージ。 - 前記隠蔽部は、前記情報コードの一部を隠蔽する、請求項1に記載のたばこパッケージ。
- 前記情報コードの全体に対する前記隠蔽部が隠蔽する部分の面積割合が、前記情報コードの誤り訂正能力のレベルに対応付けて設定されている復元率よりも大きい、請求項2に記載のたばこパッケージ。
- 前記隠蔽部は、前記外装フィルムを開封するために当該外装フィルムと一体に形成されている不透明の開封テープを含んで構成されている、請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載のたばこパッケージ。
- 前記隠蔽部は、前記外装フィルムに不透明インキで印刷された印刷領域を含んで構成されている、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載のたばこパッケージ。
