Anderer-. seits verhindert die oberhalb der Einlagen verbleibende Kautscrrlikschicht,*' dafs die Einlagen beim Auftreten durch die Sohle hindurchtreten. Um die Einlagen bei der Herstellung der Sohle an richtiger Stelle zu halten, werden dieselben, dem Stift der Form entsprechend, zweckmäfsig mit einem Loch c versehen. Die letztere (Fig. 4 und 5) bestellt aus zwei Theilen A und, B, von denen A eine Aussparung enthält, welche der Form der Sohle entspricht. Auf dem Boden des Formuntertheiles A sind die Stifte i befestigt, welche die richtige Lage der Einlagen sichern. Behufs Formung der Sohle wird zunächst eine dünne, der Form der Sohle entsprechende ausge- <y schnittene Kautschuktafel 0 auf den Boden der Aussparung des Unterllieilcs A, Fig. 5, gelegt, so dafs die Stifte ;' durch jene Tafel hindurchdringen , dann setzt man die Einlagen b mit den Löchern c auf die Stifte /, so dafs ihr vorstehender Rand nach oben zu liegen kommt, bringt die erweichte Kautschukmasse in die Form, so dafs dieselbe die Einlage ■ umgiebt und bedeckt, und preist nun den Deckel B gegen den Untertheil A der Form.
