Claims (10)
1. Vorrichtung zum Nachweis von Mikroorganismen in einer Probe, umfassend einen verschließbaren und
sterilisierbaren Probenbehälter mit einer Innenkammer, in der eine Probe mit einem sterilen Kulturmedium zum
Nachweis von mikrobieller Verunreinigung in der Probe gezüchtet werden kann, und mindestens einem
transparenten Abschnitt in der Wand jenes Behälters, sowie ein an der Innenfläche der Wand jenes Behälters
im Bereich des transparenten Abschnittes angebrachtes Fühlermittel, wodurch Veränderungen im Aussehen des
Fühlermittels von der Außenseite jenes Behälters her durch jenen transparenten Abschnitt erkennbar sind,
wobei jenes Fühlermittel ein immobilisiertes Indikatormedium umfaßt, das wegen seiner Fähigkeit zur
Anzeige einer erkennbaren Veränderung bei Exposition mit Produkten der Stoffwechseltätigkeit eines
Organismus ausgewählt wurde, wobei jenes Indikatormedium nach dem Verfahren der Bindung des
Indikators au ein Trägermedium oder Verkapselung des Indikators in einer Polymermatrix immobilisiert wird.
2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin das
Indikatormedium eine pH-abhängige Molekülart ist.
3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin das ( Fühlermittel eine aufgeladene Membran umfaßt. j
4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1/ worin die
Membran des Fühlermittels mit der Innenfläche jenes Behälters verbunden ist.
5. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4, worin die Membran des Fühlermittels wenigstens am Umfang mit der
Innenfläche des Behälters verbunden ist, wodurch weder die Probe noch das Kulturmedium zwischen der Membran
und der Behälteroberfläche hindurchlaugen können.
6. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin das Fühlermittel von der Probe in jenem Behälter durch eine
semipermeable Membran getrennt ist.
7. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6, worin die
semipermeable Membran aus einer in situ gebildeten Membran besteht..
8. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, worin das Fühlermittel Mizellen von in einer Polymermatrix
immobilisiertem Indikatormedium darstellt.
9. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 8, worin die
Mizellen aus Indikatormedium in der Polymermatrix nach
dem Verfahren der Emulgierung einer Indikatorlösung in
einem ungehärteten Polymer und Aushärtung des Polymeren gebildet wurden.
10. Methode zum Nachweis von Mikroorganismen in einer Probe, umfassend die Schritte der Einführung der
Probe in einen sterilen Probenbehälter unter sterilen Bedingungen, wobei der Probenbehälter mindestens einen
transparenten Abschnitt in seiner Wand und ein Fühlermittel, das ein bei Exposition mit gasförmigen
Produkten der Stoffwechselaktivität eines Organismus
eine erkennbare Veränderung anzeigendes und an der
Innenfläche der Wand des Behälters im Bereich des transparenten Abschnitts angebrachtes Indikatormedium
umfaßt, der Inkubation der Probe im Probenbehälter mit einem Mikrobenwachstumsmedium, wobei der Probenbehälter
in einer solchen Position orientiert ist, daß das
Fühlermittel völlig in die Probe und das Wachstumsmedium eingetaucht ist, und Verfolgung der
Produktion von gasförmigen Produkten der Stoffwechselaktivität eines Organismus von der
Außenseite des Behälters her durch seinen transparenten Abschnitt ohne Verletzung der Behälterintegrität durch
Erkennen von Veränderungen, die im Indikatormedium im Fühlermittel angezeigt werden und von den von der Probe

und dem Wachstumsmedium zum Fühlermittel gelangenden
gasförmigen Produkten stammen.
