Die bisherigen Vorschläge zum Sterilisiren von Trinkwasser durch Natriumsuperoxyd sind für eine praktische Verwendung nicht geeignet. Wichtig ist, dafs vor dem Gebrauch als Trinkwasser das Natriumsuperoxyd paralysirt werde, denn sonst ist das behandelte Wasser nicht nur ungeniefsbar, sondern geradezu schädlich.
