Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para controlar la atmósfera en im espacio que se puede cerrar llenadocon productos agrícolas u hortícolas. El método comprende detectar directamente la respiración de los productos agrícolas u hortícolas y ajustar im contenido de oxígeno, un contenido de dióxido de carbono y/o un contenido de nitrógeno en el espacio sometido a la respiración detectada. La respiración es detectada aquí periódicamente, en cada caso para un tiempo determinado, y el espacio es sellado contra influencias externas durante la detección de la respiración. Un muy buen control es logrado al tomar la respiración actual como punto de partida, y una detección altamente confiable forma la base de este control cuando la detección es realizada periódicamente por algún tiempo en una atmósfera completamente aislada.
