Abstract

本发明涉及用于隐形眼镜的包装溶液。特别地,本发明提供了用于由疏水材料制成的隐形眼镜的包装溶液。
背景技术
广泛应用隐形眼镜来矫正视力缺陷的部分原因是由于隐形眼镜的装饰效果。优选的,隐形眼镜是由具有高氧渗透性,或氧气渗透性大约为10DK或更高的材料制成的。然而,随着材料氧气渗透性的增加,一般其疏水性也会增加。
当由疏水材料制成的隐形眼镜与另一种疏水材料接触时,镜片的表面就会与该材料表面粘合。这一点对于眼镜的包装来说很成问题,因为典型的隐形眼镜包装件的材料是疏水性的。这样一来,隐形眼镜会与包装件材料粘合而导致镜片变形或破损。
发明详述及优选实施方式
本发明提供了用于由疏水材料制成的隐形眼镜的包装溶液。具体地,本发明提供了基本上能防止由疏水材料制成的隐形眼镜与包装件表面粘合的包装溶液。
在一个实施方案中,本发明提供的隐形眼镜包装溶液包含、基本上由以及由浓度为大约0.1至大约250ppm的表面活性剂组成,优选的是0.1至大约40ppm,更优选的为大约1至大约40ppm,其中表面活性剂的亲水亲油平衡值为大约10至大约30。本发明出人意料地发现在镜片包装溶液中使用非常少量的特定表面活性剂就可以基本上防止疏水镜片与包装件表面的粘合,从而基本上消除了包装件中镜片的破损或变形现象。
对于本发明目的,“疏水镜片”指的是由至少一种疏水单体制成的镜片。本发明的包装溶液在用于储存非离子镜片时具有特殊的用途。采用本发明溶液的镜片可以是由以下商品材料制成的:acquafilcon,alphafilcon,atlafilcon,etafilaon,bulifilcon,lenefilcon,lidifilcon,lotrafilcon,methafilcon,ocufilcon,perfilcon,phemfilcon,vilifilcon,Saufon,Hydron等等及它们的组合。优选的镜片是由acquafilcon或lenefilcon制成的。
适合用于本发明中的表面活性剂可以具有任何合适的分子量,优选的为大约200至大约1,000,000,更优选的为大约10,000至大约18,000,最优选的为大约12,000至大约18,000。有用的表面活性剂的亲水亲油平衡值(HLB)为大约10至大约30,优选的为大约15至大约25,更优选的为大约18至大约23。
任何符合上述标准的已知表面活性剂只要与所采用的溶液在溶解性上相容就可以用于本发明的溶液中。这样一来,合适的表面活性剂包括但并不限于阳离子、离子、非离子表面活性剂,及其组合。然而,使用包含阳离子和离子表面活性剂的镜片包装溶液可能会引起眼睛发炎。因此,优选的表面活性剂是非离子表面活性剂。
适合用于本发明的非离子表面活性剂包括但不限于脂肪酸的聚乙二醇酯,例如聚山梨醇酯(polysorbate)20,60或80,所有可得到的TWEEN表面活性剂,链烷醇酰胺,氧化胺,乙氧基化醇及酸,以及具有一个或多个聚氧化烯链的表面活性剂,例如聚氧乙烯聚氧丙烯乙二胺衍生共聚物(poloxamine)或泊洛沙姆(poloxamer)表面活性剂,及其类似物和它们的组合。优选的表面活性剂为聚山梨醇酯或泊洛沙姆表面活性剂。泊洛沙姆表面活性剂的商品名为PLURONIC,即带有占分子重量大约10%至大约80%的聚氧乙烯疏水基团末端的聚氧乙烯-聚氧丙烯非离子表面活性剂。虽然任何PLURONIC表面活性剂均是优选的,但本发明中表面活性剂更优选的是PLURONIC127,其重量的大约70%为环氧乙烷,并且分子量为大约12,000至大约15,000。
表面活性剂可以与已知的任何可用于镜片包装溶液中的活性和载体成分组合。合适的用于镜片包装溶液的活性成分包括但不限于抗菌剂,抗干燥剂例如聚乙烯醇、聚乙烯吡咯烷酮,以及葡聚糖,弹性剂,及其类似物和它们的组合。
包装溶液可以是任何水基的用于存放隐形眼镜的溶液。典型的溶液包括但不限于盐溶液、其他缓冲液和去离子水。优选的水溶液是盐溶液,其中包含的盐包括但不限于氯化钠、硼酸钠、磷酸钠、磷酸氢钠、磷酸二氢钠,或者是相应的钾盐。这些成分一般组合起来形成了包含酸及其共轭碱的缓冲溶液,因而在加入酸或碱时仅仅引起pH值相对小的变化。缓冲液中还可以加入2-(N-吗啉代)-乙基磺酸(MES)、氢氧化钠、2,2-双(羟甲基)-2,2’,2”-三乙醇胺、n-三(羟甲基)甲基-2-氨基乙基磺酸、柠檬酸、柠檬酸钠、碳酸钠、碳酸氢钠、醋酸、醋酸钠,及其类似物和它们的组合。优选地,该溶液是硼酸盐或磷酸盐缓冲的盐溶液。
为了形成包装溶液,表面活性剂与其他添加成分一起放入水基溶液中,搅拌,溶解。溶液的pH值优选地调节至大约6.2到大约7.5之间。由本发明的包装溶液所储存的镜片浸入溶液中并且溶液和镜片是放置于储存镜片的包装件之中。可替换的方法是,将溶液放入包装件中,然后将镜片放入溶液中。一般,包装件随后可采用任何方便的方法密封,例如热密封,并且进行适当的消毒程序。
Claims (16)
1、一种包含无菌接触透镜包装的物品,在该包装中包含一种浸泡于接触透镜包装溶液中的亲水透镜,该溶液含有0.1至40ppm表面活性剂,选自以下组中:脂肪酸的聚乙二醇酯、链烷醇酰胺、氧化胺、乙氧基化醇、乙氧基化酸,及它们的组合,其中表面活性剂的亲水亲油平衡值为10至30。
2、权利要求1的物品,其中表面活性剂为脂肪酸的聚乙二醇酯。
3、权利要求1的物品,其中表面活性剂为聚山梨醇酯。
4、一种含有0.1至40ppm的带有一个或多个聚(氧化烯)链的表面活性剂的接触透镜包装溶液,其中表面活性剂的亲水亲油平衡值为10至30。
5、权利要求4的溶液,其中表面活性剂为聚氧乙烯聚氧丙烯乙二胺衍生共聚物表面活性剂、泊洛沙姆表面活性剂,或它们的组合。
6、权利要求4的溶液,其中表面活性剂为泊洛沙姆表面活性剂。
7、权利要求6的溶液其中泊洛沙姆表面活性剂是带有占分子量10%至80%的聚氧乙烯疏水基团末端的聚氧乙烯-聚氧丙烯非离子表面活性剂。
8、权利要求7的溶液,其中非离子表面活性剂的重量中70%为环氧乙烷,并且分子量为12,000至15,000。
