Abstract
一种处理金属液的处理容器,该容器具有一个放

Description
本发明涉及一种靠引入易挥发性的添加剂处理金属液的容器,特别是一种用于生产含有球状石墨铸铁的容器,其方式是引入纯镁或高含镁率的预合金,或镁和其它合金的化合物,或含有铁屑之类颗粒的混合物,这些铁屑能延缓镁和熔化液之间的反应,该处理容器带有一个可以从外部加料的腔室。
使用纯镁或含有预合金的镁来处理金属液的技术在现有技术中是众所周知的。但是该现有技术中存在的严重缺点是含有低含镁率的预合金的生产成本高,并且它们的应用范围受到限制,其原因是一些不希望有的元素与镁一起带入了金属液中。
用于金属液处理的低含镁率的预合金可以应用于例如“夹层法”(Sandwich-process)中。将预定量的预合金引入一个开口的处理容器中,接着将金属液浇注在该容器内的预合金上面。由于镁和金属液之间的强烈反应,这种“夹层法”不能使用含约40%的镁的预合金来完成。
对于用纯镁来处理,已知的方法是使用一个倾侧的转炉,该转炉的容器的处理区域内带有一个腔室。通过倾侧该转炉使金属液与处理剂接触。
本发明的目的是提供一种处理容器,该容器在生产和维护方面是经济的,并有助于选择最佳工艺参数。
本发明提出一种处理金属的处理容器,该容器具有一个放置易挥发性添加剂的腔室,尤其适用于带有球状石墨的铸铁生产,纯镁或含有预合金的镁混合物可加入到一个可以从外部加料的腔室内,该腔室包括一个带有数个孔的腔壁,其特征在于该处理容器的中心线与所述的腔室的中心线一致。
根据本发明,腔室壁上的数个孔基本上设在同一平面上。该些孔的轴线可基本上平行于处理容器的中心轴线;最好相对于处理容器的中心轴线成一角度。
附图中示出了实现本发明目的的一个最佳实施例。
处理容器1由处理区域2和腔室3组成,腔室3用于充注处理剂,例如镁或高含镁量的预合金。腔室3通过壁4与处理区域2连接。该壁4同时也形成处理容器1的底面4a。腔室3和处理容器1的处理区域2之间的连通是通过孔5形成的各个通道提供的。
处理过程如下:
将纯镁或含有预合金的镁放入腔室3内。当处理容器位于水平位置时就可以完成该步骤。一个盖子3a安装在腔室3的封闭位置。随后在该容器已进入垂直位置之后将金属液注入处理容器的处理区域2内。金属液通过孔5慢慢地进入腔室3内,并当金属液与处理剂接触时开始蒸发。由于剧烈的蒸发和蒸发压力,引起了一个冲刷作用,使金属液搅动,其结果是腔室3连续地由金属液再充注,直到处理过程结束为止。
金属液和处理剂之间的反应通过连续供入腔室内的金属液得到调节,当蒸汽从腔室中排出时减慢了金属液的流入。
孔5的轴线方向与处理容器的中心轴线成一锐角,因此,该金属液进行搅动,而反应的生成物从金属液中分离出。这种结构之所以能维持这种反应是由于流动方向被优化的结果。
该处理容器通过下面列举的例子更详细地进行说明:
例1
含硫重量百分比为0.011%的原始金属液用0.093%重量百分比的镁处理。处理之后金属液的含镁重量百分比是0.043%,而含硫的重量百分比减少到0.009%。处理的温度是1480℃。
例2
含硫重量百分比为0.012%的原始金属液用0.072%重量百分比的镁处理。处理之后金属液的含镁重量百分比是0.036%,而硫的重量百分比减少到0.009%。处理的温度是1510℃。
例3
含硫重量百分比为0.01%的原始金属液用0.09%重量百分比的镁处理。处理之后金属液的含镁重量百分比是0.042%,而硫的重量百分比减少到0.008%。处理的温度是1470℃。
例4
含硫重量百分比为0.01%的原始金属液用0.23%重量百分比的含镁量为40%的预合金处理,处理之后金属液的含镁重量百分比是0.048%,而硫的重量百分比减少到0.008%。处理的温度是1480℃。
Claims (7)
1、一种处理金属液的处理容器,该容器具有一个放置易挥发性添加剂的腔室,尤其适用于带有球状石墨的铸铁的生产,纯镁或含有预合金的镁的混合物可加入到一个可以从外部加料的腔室内,该腔室包括一个带有数个孔的腔室壁,其特征在于该处理容器的中心线与所述的腔室的中心线一致。
2、如权利要求1所述的处理容器,其特征在于:该腔室设在处理器的外侧。
3、如权利要求1和2所述的处理容器,其特征在于:该腔室壁上设有数个孔,腔室壁形成处理容器的底部的一部分。
4、如权利要求1到3中任一项所述的处理容器,其特征在于:腔室壁上的数个孔基本上设在同一平面上。
5、如权利要求1到4中任一项所述的处理容器,其特征在于:腔室壁上的数个孔基本上是相对于该处理容器的中心轴线平行设置。
6、如权利要求1到4中任一项所述的处理容器,其特征在于:腔室壁上的数个孔的每条轴线相对于处理容器的中心轴线成一角度设置。
7、如权利要求6所述的处理容器,其特征在于:孔的轴线平行于处理容器的轴线。
