Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Monoazo-Farbstoffes. Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sieh auf die Herstellung eines neuen Monoazo-Farb- stoffes, der Aoetat-Kunstseide in grünlich- blauen Tönen von gut-er Haltbarkeit färbt.
Gemäss der Erfindung wird dieser Farbstoff durch Kuppeln von diazotiertem 2-Chlor-4-nitroanilin mit 1-N-ss-hydroxy- äthylamin-5-naphiol und Umwandeln des so erhaltenen unlöslichen Farbstoffes in seinen löslichen Sehwefelsäureester durch Behand lung mit einem Sulfonierungsmittel herge stellt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Die aus<B>17,25</B> Teilen 2-Chlor-4-nitroanilin entstandene Diazo-Verbindung wird mit<B>20,3</B> Teilen. des 1-N-ss-hydroxyäthylamin-5-napli- tols in saurem Medium gekuppelt. Die so er haltene unlösliche Verbindung wird abge trennt, getrocknet und dann langsam in Pulverform unter Umrühren<B>250</B> Teilen 80%ige,r Schwefelsäure zugesetzt. Man rührt so lange um, bis die darauffolgende Löslich- keitsprobe befriedigend ist. Ein kleines Muster wird entnommen, Eis zugesetzt und die entstandene Suspension filtriert.
Das Feste wird mit Wasser gerührt, mit Natrium karbonat gerade alkalisch gemacht und er wärmt. Es soll eine klare Lösung entstehen. Die ganze Schwefelsäurelösung wird dann Eis zugegossen. Der sich abtrennende neue Farbstoff wird abfiltriert und wieder in kal tem Wasser suspendiert. Die Suspension wird mit 10%igem Salz (Volumgewicht) behan delt, mit Natriumkarbonat alkalisch gemacht und der neue Farbstoff abfiltriert und ge trocknet.
Der Farbstoff bildet ein schwarzes Pul ver, das sieh in heissem Wasser zu einer blauen Lösung und in konzentrierter Schwe felsäure zu einer dunkelvioletten Lösung löst. Er färbt Acetat-Kunstseide in grünlich- blauen Tönen von guter Haltbarkeit, wenn aus einem neutralen,<B>1 %</B> Salz enthaltendem Färbebad angewandt-.
Process for the preparation of a new monoazo dye. The present invention relates to the production of a new monoazo dye which dyes acetate rayon in greenish-blue shades of good durability.
According to the invention, this dye is produced by coupling diazotized 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline with 1-N-ss-hydroxy-ethylamine-5-naphiol and converting the insoluble dye thus obtained into its soluble sulfuric acid ester by treatment with a sulfonating agent .
<I> Example: </I> The diazo compound formed from <B> 17.25 </B> parts of 2-chloro-4-nitroaniline is <B> 20.3 </B> parts. of 1-N-ss-hydroxyethylamine-5-naplitols coupled in an acidic medium. The insoluble compound obtained in this way is separated off, dried and then slowly added in powder form with stirring to 250 parts of 80% strength sulfuric acid. The mixture is stirred until the subsequent solubility test is satisfactory. A small sample is removed, ice is added and the resulting suspension is filtered.
The solid is stirred with water, made alkaline with sodium carbonate and it warms. A clear solution should be created. The whole sulfuric acid solution is then poured into ice. The new dye which separates out is filtered off and suspended again in cold water. The suspension is treated with 10% salt (volume weight), made alkaline with sodium carbonate and the new dye is filtered off and dried.
The dye forms a black powder that dissolves into a blue solution in hot water and a dark purple solution in concentrated sulfuric acid. It dyes acetate rayon in greenish-blue shades of good durability when applied from a neutral dye bath containing <B> 1% </B> salt.
