  Verfahren zur Darstellung des     Kalziumsalzes    eines     Azofarbstoffes.       Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur     Darstellung    des     Kalziumsalzes     eines     Azofarbstoffes,    welches darin besteht,  dass man     2-Amino-4-sulfo-l-benzoesäure        diazo-          tiert,    die     Diazoverbindung    mit     @-Naphthol     kuppelt und die Lösung des Farbstoffes mit       Kalziumchlorid    behandelt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  21,7 Gewichtsteile     2-Amino-4-sialfo-l-ben-          zoesäure    werden in üblicher Weise     diazotiert     und in schwach saurer, neutraler oder schwach  alkalischer Lösung mit 14,5 Gewichtsteilen       1?-Naphthol    gekuppelt. Nach beendeter Kupp  lung wird die     Farbstofflösung    filtriert, falls sie  nicht schon alkalisch reagiert, alkalisch ge  macht und mit     Natriumchlorid        ausgesalzen.     Es fällt in fast quantitativer Ausbeute das       Dinatriumsalz    des Farbstoffes aus, ein in ge  trocknetem Zustand gelbrotes, in Wasser mit  oranger Farbe lösliches Pulver.

      Die Lösung von 41,6 Gewichtsteilen des  so erhaltenen     Dinatriumsalzes    des Farbstof  fes in 750 Gewichtsteilen Wasser wird bei  90   C unter Rühren in eine Lösung von 24  Gewichtsteilen wasserfreiem     Kalziumchlorid     und 100 Gewichtsteilen     Natriumchlorid    in  400 Gewichtsteilen Wasser gegeben. Es wird  noch unter Rühren 1/4 Stunde lang bei der  gleichen Temperatur gehalten; dann auf<B>700</B> C  abgekühlt. Den gebildeten     Kalziumlack    trennt  man von der Lauge und wäscht ihn mit  kaltem Wasser aus. Der bei     40-5011    C ge  trocknete     Lackfarbstoff    ist ein rotes Pulver.  



  Das nach dem vorstehenden Beispiel zu  gefügte     Natriumchlorid    tritt nicht in Reak  tion.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung des Kalzium salzes eines Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man 2-Amino-4-sulfo-l-benzoe- säure diazotiert, die Diazoverbindung mit @-Naphthol kuppelt und die Lösung des Farbstoffes mit galziumchlorid behandelt. Das so gebildete galziumsalz des Farb stoffes stellt in trockenem Zustande ein rotes Pulver dar.
