Abstract
PROCESSO PARA PRODUçãO DE PAPEL REVESTIDO. A presente invenção se refere a um processo para produção de papel ou papelão revestidos, compreendendo uma etapa de aplicação de uma composição de pigmento como revestimento a pelo menos um lado de um tecido de papel ou papelão, a dita composição de pigmento sendo uma dispersão aquosa. compreendendo como partículas de pigmento, partículas de sílica coloidal ou aluminossilicato opcionalmente agregadas, preparadas a partir de silicato de metal alcalino, mediante troca de ions ou redução de pH e tendo uma área superficial de cerca de 30 m¬ 2¬/g a aproximadamente 450 m¬ 2¬/g, e pelo menos um componente catióníco selecionado do grupo que consiste de sais de alumínio solúveis em água e polímeros catiânicos com um peso molecular de cerca de 2000 a aproximadamente 1000000 e uma densidade de carga de cerca de 0,2 meq/g a aproximadamente 12 meq/g, em que pelo menos cerca de 0,4 g de partículas de pigmento da composição de pigmento são aplicadas por m¬ 2¬ de lado revestido do tecido de papel ou papelão. A invenção se refere ainda a um papel ou papelão que podem ser obtidos por meio desse processo, a uma nova composição de pigmento de utilidade em tal processo e a um processo para sua produção.
