Abstract
"FIBRA, FIO, MATERIAL FIBROSO, CABO DE FIBRA óTICA, MéTODO DE REVESTIMENTO DE UMA FIBRA, UTILIZAçãO DE UMA DISPERSãO ESSENCIALMENTE LIVRE DE áGUA E PROCESSO DE PREPARAçãO DE UM POLìMERO SUPERABSORVERNTE" A presente refere-se a uma fibra revestida com um material bloqueador de água que inclui uma dispersão essencialmente livre de água que compreende um polímero superabsorvente e um meio de dispersão. As fibras fabricadas de acordo com a presente invenção podem ser utilizadas, por exemplo, como fibras que reforçam o material utilizado na fabricação de cabos e, particularmente, em fios para cabos de fibra ótica que utilizam guias de onda de luz ótica para transmissões de comunicação ótica.
