Abstract
본 발명에 따라 제조된 코팅층을 갖는 흡수성 유리섬유는 수분 흡수성이 증대되므로, 이러한 코팅층이 형성된 유리섬유를 보강재로서 이용하여 광섬유 코어부를 에워싸도록 배치한 광케이블은 외부로부터 유입되는 수분으로부터 광섬유 코어부가 보호된다.
Description
도 2는 얻어진 아크릴계 유화 중합체를 적외선 분광장치 (Alpha-P, Bruker)를 사용하여 얻은 IR 차트이다.
도 3은 본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 코팅액의 점도를 측정하여 도시한 그래프이다.
도 4는 본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 코팅액으로 코팅층을 형성한 유리섬유의 수분 흡수도를 도시한 그래프이다.

Claims (7)
- (메타)아크릴산 중합단위를 30 중량% 이상 포함하며, 아크릴산 3 내지 7 중량%, 메타크릴산 25 내지 40 중량% 및 나머지 량의 에틸 아크릴레이트로부터 유래된 중합단위들로 이루어진 아크릴계 유화 중합체로 된 흡수성 수지가 분산매에 분산된 pH가 6 내지 7인 코팅액을 준비하는 단계; 및
상기 코팅액에 유리섬유를 침지시키고 이를 건조시키는 단계를 포함하는 광케이블용 흡수성 유리섬유의 제조방법. - 삭제

상기 분산매는 물과 에탄올의 혼합물인 것을 특징으로 하는 광케이블용 흡수성 유리섬유의 제조방법. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 아크릴계 유화 중합체의 함량은 코팅액 총 중량을 기준으로 4 내지 12 중량%인 것을 특징으로 하는 광케이블용 흡수성 유리섬유의 제조방법. - 제1항, 제5항 및 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 따라 흡수성 유리섬유를 제조하는 단계;
상기 흡수성 유리섬유를 광섬유 코어부를 에워싸도록 배치하는 단계를 포함하는 광케이블의 제조방법.
