Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA DISTRIBUIçãO HIERáRQUICA DE PACOTES DE SOFTWARE"<D>. Trata-se de um sistema de distribuição de software para pacotes de software compreendendo uma pluralidade de pacotes, pelo menos dois dos quais são requeridos por um diferente conjunto de nós numa rede. Ao invés de ser feito o envio de todos os pacotes que constituem o pacote de software para cada um dos nós, somente os pacotes do pacote de software que são requeridos pelos nós abaixo de uma determinada interligação na rede são enviados ao longo dessa interligação, para dessa forma ser minimizado o requisito de largura de banda para transmissão do pacote de software.
