Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MOLéCULAS DE áCIDO NUCLéICO QUE CODIFICAM PROTEìNAS TENDO ATIVIDADE FRUTOSIL TRANSFERASE E PROCESSOS PARA PRODUZIR INULINA DE CADEIA LONGA"<D>. As moléculas de ácido nucléico são descritas codificando proteínas com uma atividade enzimática de frutosil transferase. Estas enzimas são frutosil transferases (FFT). Além disso, vetores e células hospedeiras são descritas contendo as moléculas de ácido nucléico da invenção, particularmente células de plantas transformadas, tecido de planta e plantas regeneráveis a partir daí, que expressam o FFT descrito. Além disso, processos para a produção de inulina de cadeia longa por uso de proteínas descritas, hospedeiros, particularmente as células de plantas e/ou FFT produzido pelas mesmas, são descritos.
