Verfahren zur Darstellung von Hexamethylentetramindiguajakol.
Nach dem Verfahren des Stammpatentes Nr. 45443 wird ein Hexamethylentetramintri- guajakol durch Zusammenbringen einer konzentrierten, wässrigen Lösung von Hexamethylentetramin mit Guajakol oder einer Formaldehydlösung mit einer ammoniakalischen Guajakollösung erhalten. Es hat sich nun gezeigt, dass ausser dem Hexamethylentetramintriguajakot auch noch andere Molekularverbindungen zwischen Hexamethylentetramin und Guajakol beständig sind.
Fügt man zu einer warmen Lösung von 8 kg Hexamethylentetramin in 10 1 Wasser 4 kg kristallisiertes Guajakol und erwärmt auf kochendem Wasserbade bis eine klare Lösung eingetreten ist, so kristallisieren beim Erkalten lange, feine Nadeln eines Körpers aus, der nach der Analyse ein Hexamethylentetramindiguajakol ist und in seinen wesentlichen Eigenschaften dem im Stammpatente beschriebenen Körper entspricht.
Das Hexamethylentetramindiguajakol lässt sich sehr leicht in seine Komponenten spalten.

According to the process of the parent patent no. 45443, a hexamethylenetetramine triguaiacol is obtained by combining a concentrated, aqueous solution of hexamethylenetetramine with guaiacol or a formaldehyde solution with an ammoniacal guaiacol solution. It has now been shown that apart from hexamethylenetetramine triguajakot, other molecular compounds between hexamethylenetetramine and guaiacol are also stable.
