Abstract

Vectores de expresión que comprenden promotores específicos de raíz en asociación operativa con los polinucleótidos que están regulados por disminución en el sincitio de plantas infectadas con nematodos, para uso en los métodos de producir plantas transgénicas con aumento de resistencia a la infestación de nematodos. Plantas y semillas transgénicas resistentes a nematodos y semillas que comprenden dichos vectores de expresión. Reivindicación 1: Un método para obtener una planta transgénica resistente a los nematodos, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: e) proporcionar un vector de expresión recombinante que comprende usar un promotor específico de raíz en asociación operativa con un polinucleótido que codifica un proteína tipo 111B inducida por AVR9 que comprende los aminoácidos 1 a 226 de la SEQ ID Ns: 38; f) transformar una célula vegetal con el vector de expresión recombinante; g) regenerar plantas transgénicas de la célula de planta transformada; y h) seleccionar plantas transgénicas que demuestran aumento de resistencia a la infección con nematodos parasíticos cuando se comparan con las plantas tipo silvestre que no comprenden el vector de expresión recombinante.
