Abstract
Amidas seleccionadas a partir del grupo formado por compuestos de formula (1) en donde: R1 y R2 son independientemente hidrogeno, halo, ciano, nitro, alquiltio inferior, perfluor-alquiltio inferior, alquilsulfonilo inferior, o perfluor-alquilsulfonilo inferior; R3 es alquilo inferior C2-4 o un anillo de 5-7 miembros el cual es cicloalquilo, cicloalquenilo, o heterocicloalquilo con un heteroátomo seleccionado entre oxígeno y azufre; R4 es -C(O)NHR5, o es R6; R5 es hidrogeno, alquilo inferior, alquenilo inferior, hidroxi alquilo inferior, halo alquilo inferior, -(CH2)n-C(O)-OR7, o -C(O)-(CH2)n-C(O)-OR8; R6 es un anillo heteroaromático no sustituido o monosustituido de 5-6 miembros conectado por un átomo de C del anillo al grupo amida mostrado, conteniendo dicho anillo heteroaromático de 5-6 miembros 1-3 heteroátomos seleccionados a partir de azufre, oxígeno o nitrogeno, siendo un heteroátomo nitrogeno que es adyacente al átomo de C de conexion al anillo; dicho anillo heteroaromático mono-sustituido está mono-sustituido en una posicion en un átomo de C del anillo diferente del adyacente a dicho átomo de C de conexion con un sustituyente seleccionado a partir del grupo formado por alquilo inferior, halo, nitro, ciano, -(CH2)n-OR9, -(CH2)n-C(O)-OR10, -(CH2)n-C(O)-NH-R11, -C(O)-C(O)-OR12, o -(CH2)n-NHR13; n es 0, 1, 2, 3 o 4; R7, R8, R9, R10, R11, R12 y R13 son independientemente hidrogeno o alquilo inferior; X es oxígeno, azufre, sulfonilo o carbonilo; * indica un átomo de C asimétrico; y sus sales farmacéuticamente aceptables. Dichas amidas activan la glucoquinasa y por lo tanto son utiles en el tratamiento o profilaxis de la diabetes de tipo II. También se dan a conocer: composiciones farmacéuticas que las comprenden, proceso para preparar dichas composiciones, uso de dichas amidas en la preparacion de medicamentos, y proceso para la preparacion de dichas amidas.
