    Giving gifts to teachers at school during farewell events is a phenomenon that occurs and becomes a habit for parents of students at RA Asy-Syafi'iyyah Desa Sayang Kecamatan Jatinangor Kabupaten Sumedang. Giving Gifts to Teachers is an activity that comes from the initiative of parents with various reasons given at the end of school or separation. This study aims to determine istihsan's perspective on giving gifts to teachers at school during farewell events. This study uses descriptive qualitative data collection using interviews and analysis using qualitative analysis with content analysis based on istihsan analysis. The research subjects were some parents of students who had given gifts to teachers at school, some parents of students who did not give gifts to teachers at school and local religious leaders totaling 6 people. The results of the study show that the activity of giving gifts to teachers in schools has become a habit at RA Asy-Syafi'iyyah as a thank you to teachers who have taught and imparted their knowledge at school, as a keepsake from parents of students, in addition to giving to teachers, parents also like to give gifts to the school and to the principal as a sign of gratitude and reminiscence. The conclusion of this study is that giving gifts to teachers in schools seen from the perspective of Istihsan including the law is permissible and depends on the intentions of the giver. If you give the gift with the intention of giving happiness to the person you give it (idholussuruur) God willing, there will be a good value for the person who gave the gift as long as the gift is halal.
