This paper presents mainly on the basis of open loop L-Z source inverter. By using the power electronics converter the distributed generating system is connected to the grid. In that by adding inductance and diode to the input side of power electronic converter the input voltage to be boosted and eliminates the ripples in the input current and reduce the inrush current. In the distributed generating system all the capacity of converters are not used for all time by reducing the harmonics. For the high range of distributed generating system normal dc-dc converter is not used and they need the special power converter for the interfacing with grid. For that, the proposed L-Z-source inverter will be suited based on the performance. The quality of the grid should be improved by that reducing the harmonics inverter. The result of the proposed system is obtained by using the MATLAB SIMULINK software.

Cisplatin is one of the most effective chemotherapeutics against a wide range of cancers including head, neck, ovarian and lung cancers. But its usefulness is limited by its toxicity to normal tissues, including cells of the kidney and proximal tubule. The purpose of the present study is to investigate whether the hydro alcoholic whole fruit extract of Benincasa hispida (Thunb.) Cong.(HABH) could decrease the intensity of toxicity in cisplatin induced albino wistar rats. A single dose of cisplatin (7.5 mg/kg i.p.) induced nephrotoxicity, manifested biochemically by a significant increase of urine volume, kidney weight, urinary sodium, urinary potassium, urinary glucose, blood urea, blood creatinine and decreased in body weight, urinary creatinine and blood total protein level with multiple histological damages. Nephrotoxicity was further confirmed by a significant decrease in glutathione (GSH) and increase in lipid peroxides in kidney homogenates. Administration of HABH (200, 400 mg...

This paper presents a printed leaf shaped antenna with a rectangular ground plane which belongs to the class of printed monopole antenna and is small (16 cm2), compact, conformal and provides an ultra wide band performance giving very good omnidirectional radiation pattern similar to monopole antenna. It has an impedance bandwidth of around 10.25 GHz (return loss< 10 dB) ranging from 3.0251 GHz- 13.2848 GHz and a constant group delay over this range.

The main objective of the proposed system is to design the various MPPT controllers for single-switch DC/DC converter (SSC) with PV system and compare the efficiency of the proposed system in each case. This is done by using the modeling of the photovoltaic generation system with perturb and observe, incremental conductance techniques and also executed using MATLAB.

This paper deals with the design of the SEPIC converter is connected to permanent magnet Brushless Direct Current motor through VSI (voltage source inverter). The SEPIC converter values has been designed based upon the transfer function and the input is get from the Renewable Energy Source as Solar PV cells. The Maximum power should be extracting by using perturb and observe technique. The ripples should be reduced by the low pass filter. The result should be obtained from the MATLAB/SIMULINK software.

The aim of the present paper is to study the effect of red mud on the characterization and mechanical behavior of aluminum alloy AA6082 composites reinforced with red mud. Four different volume fractions (0, 2, 4, and 6%) have been considered to fabricate the composites by stir casting route. The effect of heat treatment on mechanical properties is also investigated. Vickers micro-hardness testing and tensile testing were carried out to measure mechanical properties. Compared to the base alloy, a significant enhancement in the hardness and tensile strength is observed in the case of the red mud-reinforced composites. Furthermore, field emission scanning electron microscope analysis (FESEM) and energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDX) were also employed to study the microstructural evolution and elemental analysis of the composites. The tensile fractography study revealed a ductile nature of failure in terms of dimple, micro-voids, and cracks.

The aim of this work was to evaluate the various computed tomography (CT) techniques such as fast CT, slow CT, breath-hold (BH) CT, full-fan cone beam CT (FF-CBCT), half-fan CBCT (HF-CBCT), and average CT for delineation of internal target volume (ITV). In addition, these ITVs were compared against four-dimensional CT (4DCT) ITVs. Three-dimensional target motion was simulated using dynamic thorax phantom with target insert of diameter 3 cm for ten respiration data. CT images were acquired using a commercially available multislice CT scanner, and the CBCT images were acquired using On-Board-Imager. Average CT was generated by averaging 10 phases of 4DCT. ITVs were delineated for each CT by contouring the volume of the target ball; 4DCT ITVs were generated by merging all 10 phases target volumes. Incase of BH-CT, ITV was derived by boolean of CT phases 0%, 50%, and fast CT target volumes. ITVs determined by all CT and CBCT scans were significantly smaller (P < 0.05) than the 4DCT I...

Abstract Changes in the tumour position due to inter and intra-fractional motion introduce uncertainty in IMRT delivery. In this work, we experimentally evaluated the effect of inter and intra-fractional motion uncertainties in the IMRT delivery. A lung patient was planned with five field dynamic IMRT for a total dose of 60Gy in 30 fractions using 6MV photon beam at a dose rate of 400MU/min. The plan was delivered on Varian CL2100CD Linear Accelerator with millennium 120 MLC for a single fraction and measured using IMRT MatriXX placed ...

Today Micro-blogging has become a popular Internet-user communication tool. Millions of users exchange views on different aspects of their lives. Thus micro blogging websites are a rich source of opinion mining data or Sentiment Analysis (SA) information. Due to the recent emergence of micro blogging, there are a few research works devoted to this subject. We concentrate in our paper on Twitter, one of the prominent micro blogging sites to analyze sentiment of the public. We'll demonstrate, how to gather real-time twitter data for sentiment analysis or opinion mining purposes, and employed algorithms like Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), Bag of Words (BOW) and Multinomial Naive Bayes ( MNB). We are able to determine positive and negative sentiments for the real-time twitter data using the above chosen algorithms. Experimental evaluations below shows that the algorithms used are efficient and it can be used as a application in detection of the depression of t...

Two major hurdles in NP-based catalysis are the aggregation of the NPs and their recycling. Immobilization of NPs onto a 2D support is the most promising strategy to overcome these difficulties. Herein, amphiphilicity-driven self-assembly of galactose-hexaphenylbenzene based amphiphiles into galactose-decorated 2D nanosheet is reported. The extremely dense decoration of reducing sugar on the surface of the sheets is used for the in-situ synthesis and immobilization of ultrafine catalytically active AgNPs by using Tollens' reaction. The potential of the system as a catalyst for the reduction of various nitroaromatics is demonstrated. Enhanced catalytic activity is observed for the immobilized AgNPs when compared to the corresponding discrete AgNPs. Recovery of the catalytic system from the reaction mixture by ultrafiltration and its subsequent recycling for several cycles without dropping its activity is shown. This is the first report demonstrating the in-situ synthesis and immobilization of ultrafine AgNPs onto a 2D nanosheet that exhibits excellent catalytic performance for the reduction of nitroaromatics.
