The gigantic and sumptuous Holy Trinity cathedral is Ethiopia's second-most important place of worship. It's also the burial place of the great Emperor Haile Selassie and his wife. Their huge granite tombs complete with lions' feet has much to do with the old Axumite construction styles. Such a place is, in fact, worth-seeing.

As per some former TPLF rebel’s clarification, the Dedebit, North Western Tigray founded (Tigray People’s Liberation front) struggle groups are far from the first Qedamay Woyane rebellion of 1943 against Haile Selassie ideology or pillars. The reason forward is that – the five pillars that lay the foundation by Qedamay Woyane like (the fellowship of one God, our flag is the flag of Ethiopia, we should be judge and govern by our regional people, robber’s and thieves, and who violate the rights of woman and children also have no place in Tigray) are not applicable when it came to the reality of TPLF manifesto; which the Manifesto of TPLF, 1976 objective was to secede and establish an independent Tigray.
