Transboundary Kootenai River Basin Water Quality Portal

The purpose of the Kootenai River Basin Water Quality Portal is to produce a web map with more comprehensive information related to water quality measurements collected in the Kootenai River Basin. This portal provides resources and an interactive map tool. The map displays over 3,000 sites where water quality data have been collected. The data have been collected by multiple entities and are stored in different publicly available databases. Different entities include federal governments, state and provincial governments, tribal nations, and nonprofit organizations. The site information displayed on the map includes information related to the different water quality parameters that have been measured and the most recent sampling result for each parameter.
