In 2024, Petróleos Mexicanos, commonly known as Pemex, reported net sales of approximately 80 billion U.S. dollars, a decrease of over 10 percent in comparison to the previous year. That same year, the company's net income totaled over 37 billion U.S. dollars in loss. Pemex is the state-owned Mexican petroleum company and one of the largest national oil corporations in Latin America.
