LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT NEEDS ASSESSMENT (LDNA) PLAN
I. OBJECTIVES:
Enabling Objectives:
1. Perform basic arithmetic operations quickly.
2. Improve mental math skills.
3. Enhance numerical fluency.
4. Boost confidence in math
5. Develop fine motor skills.
II. DATA REQUIREMENTS AND DATA SOURCES:
The School L&D coordinator would like to gather data from submission
of results of the RO7- Submission of Results of the Early Grade Mathematics
Assessment Tool (EGMAT) measure the primary numeracy and mathematics
skills of children in early grade. Mastering mental math using an abacus can
provide numerous benefits, including improved cognitive function, increased
numerical fluency, enhanced academic and professional outcomes, and
potential mental health benefits. By dedicating time and effort to learning
this ancient tool, individuals can develop strong mental math skills that
benefit them throughout their lives.

III. METHODOLOGIES AND TOOLS
The School L&D coordinator and School Head will conduct a survey to
the identified teachers using the School Administration and submission of
results of the RO7- Submission of Results of the Early Grade Mathematics
Assessment Tool (EGMAT) measure the primary numeracy and mathematics
skills of children in early grade.
. The team will then come up with an initial analysis and interpretation of the
results. To validate the initial findings, the team will conduct a Focus Group
Discussion (FGD) to the 12 teachers using the FGD questions that will be
crafted after coming up with the initial findings.
IV. IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS
To come up with a comprehensive LDNA Report that conforms to the
L&D standards, the following activities with its corresponding timeline will be
