Read the passage carefully and then answer the questions

Suthep has worked at the airport for most of his life. He

enjoys writing letters to people overseas. He has friends in
dozens of countries.
One day, he received a package from his friend, Naomi. It
was wrapped in brown paper and tied with a string; Suthep’s
address was in the center of the package, so the postman would
know where to deliver it.

There was a return address in the top-left corner so that

the package could be returned to Naomi if there was a problem

How the Finch Got Her Colors

Once long, long ago, all the birds were gray and had no
bright colors at all. Then the great bird, who ruled over them,
called them together for a meeting. He showed them the rainbow
with all its beautiful colors. Then he told them each bird could
choose one of the colors of the rainbow. At once, the birds began
pushing and shoving and crowding about the great bird. Each
wanted to be sure it got its favorite color.

“Let me have first choice! I want to be green,” said the

parrot.
“Blue is my favorite color. Give me blue,” screamed the
blue bird.
“I’ll take yellow, “ sang the canary.

On and on it went. But during all this noise a little finch

sat quietly in a corner waiting for her turn.
“Now you each have a beautiful color to wear,” said the
great bird. “It’s good that you are all here and have what you
wanted. Every bit of color is now gone.”
Suddenly he stopped talking when he saw the finch was
waiting in the corner. “Little Finch, come here to me,” he called.
“Why haven’t you asked for something like the rest?”

“I was just waiting for it to be my turn,” the little finch

answered sadly.

“But don’t you see?” see?” said the great bird, “ Now all the
colors are gone!”

“Does that mean I always have to be gray?” the little finch

asked.
“No,” answered the great bird, “I will not let that happen.
You were right not to push and shove! I will not let you go
without!”

Then the great bird did an amazing thing. He asked all the
other birds to slowly pass by him. As each bird came, he took a
small bit of color and gave it to the finch.

By the time the last bird had passed by, the finch was a
wonderful sight. Her feathers were tinted with all colors of the
rainbow, each carefully blended with the other.
Because the tiny bird waited her turn, she became one of
the most beautiful birds in the sky!
