by [______] in Elkin, North Carolina, on [May 3rd, 2025].
In consideration for being permitted to participate in "The Race" event, I, on behalf of myself,
my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, do hereby release, waive, discharge, and
covenant not to sue [Event Organizer], its officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and
representatives (collectively referred to as "Releasees"), from any and all liability, claims,
demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage,
or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or any of my property, while
participating in "The Race" event, or while traveling to or from the event, regardless of whether
such loss is caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.
I acknowledge that participating in "The Race" event involves certain risks, including but not
limited to those caused by terrain, weather conditions, equipment, and actions of other
participants. I assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown,
which I might incur as a result of participating in the event.
I agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the event organizers and to follow all
instructions provided by event staff and volunteers. I understand that failure to comply with these
rules may result in my disqualification from the event.

during "The Race" event and to use such materials for promotional purposes, including but not
limited to advertising, social media, and website content.
I certify that I am physically fit, and am aware that any challenges I attempt, I choose to
participate in and consent to 100%. I have sufficiently prepared for participation in the event, and
have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.
I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, FULLY
UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY
THEM. I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS,
INCLUDING MY RIGHT TO SUE, AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I AM SIGNING
THIS DOCUMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY, WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT,
ASSURANCE, OR GUARANTEE BEING MADE TO ME.
