The bidders are advised to visit site and make
careful study of all conditions and the nature of
work to be done under this contract, as no extras
will be allowed on the plea of want of information
due to negligence of on their part in this regard.

All demolished materials, except those required to

be stacked shall be carted away during the
demolition operation.
Obtain confirmation from the Employer and
Engineer that all power cables and power lines
within the site have been disconnected and
removed.
Obtain in writing clear from the Employer and
Engineer as to of demolition and provide
adequate protection to other parts of the building
which is requires to be protected.

Rate shall include necessary supporting works

which required to complete the works.
Demolished material which are not usable shall be
the property of the Contractor

Usable materials arising from demolitions shall be

the property of Employer and instruction given
by the Engineer or the Employer.

2.15 Floor, Walls and Ceiling Finishes

The Contractor is advised to refer the Drawings,
Specification, pricing preambles and the finishes
schedule prior to pricing of this section of work.
Note

Rates shall include for temporary rules, screeds,

ground etc., all normal cutting arises, raking out
knots of brick work, hacking knots of concrete,
rounded angles and the like, bedding, pointing,
forming joints making good between different
surfaces, around pipes, sanitary fittings and other
fixtures and cleaning down upon completion.

Note

Extra over provision for narrow widths such as

door/ window reveals have not been measured
separately for all types of finishes. Rates shall
include for narrow widths unless otherwise
included in the BOQ.
Note

Rates shall include for builders work in connection

with electrical/mechanical installation and
plumbing unless measured otherwise.
Note

Ensure that all floor finishes are laid to falls as

indicated or towards external sides so as to
prevent stagnation of water. Note
