Project introduction This project aims to develop common methods to improve the institutional
capacity of partners to involve children and parents in ecological and recycling
activities, to train them in pro-ecological behaviors, to help parents understand
the role that time spent in nature plays in the health and well-being of children
as well as adults and to help them discover new ways to get children to play an
learn outdoors. It also aims to improve the level of education of the teaching
staff who participate in the project through the exchange of experience, by
learning new methods and techniques, by experimenting with new approaches
in the instructional-educational process. We will help children to discover the
importance of recycling for themselves and we will encourage them to take an
attitude in their everyday lefe regarding the protection of the environment. This
project gives children the chance to use their imagination to design products
that do not harm the environment and that support the reduction of waste.
Methods: Team building game, Ice breaking activity
The Purpose of the Session: getting to know each other, getting to know each
other, and making an effective group work in the mobility period.

Creative teaching The teachers involved will learn in this workshop:

techniques in nature - how to adapt and motivate children's participation in learning actvities that
to promote respect take place indoors or outdoors;
for nature - how to organize ecological excursions;
- what is the impact of using legends and drama in outdoor teaching;
- some aspects of ethics in nature (ecotourism);
- what are the consequences of the excessive consumption of the products we
use, on the environment.
Permaculture in The permaculture school garden will serve as a ‘living classroom’ to educate all
your schools! students in ecological and sustainable agriculture, environmental stewardship
and self-reliance through learning by doing.
The school garden will produce annual vegetables and incorporate perennial
fruit and other tree crops in a ‘food forest’ system. The school garden will be
designed and implemented based on permaculture principles to ensure
sustainability. Permaculture is a design system that integrates organic farming,
sustainable development and agroforestry to create self-sustaining and durable
land use through the conscious design of natural ecosystems. Through
designing based on the principles nature teaches us, permaculture enables
individuals and communities to meet their basic needs of healthy food, clean
water, shelter, and energy in a way that not only ‘sustains’ but actively
regenerates biodiversity and natural resources. Permaculture systems are
designed to work with locally available crops and materials, making them low
cost, eco-friendly and productive.
What we can do? Through this activity we propose to choose a way to involve school students in
protecting the environment. We propose the following activities:
1. Recycling used cooking oil for environmental and educational impact
This idea is based on an innovative circular bioeconomy model, with schools
acting as collection points for used cooking oil. We can sell the used oil to
companies, which then transform it into biodiesel. Profits go back to the schools
to be invested in environmental education and the promotion of green
technological innovation. We don't simply focus on collecting used cooking oil.
We are trying to develop environmental awareness in students, who have the
opportunity to act on their love for the environment, the local community and
their school. The school is financially supported, allowing us to take further
action to create an ecological and sustainable place.
2. Don't waste your paper!
Paper and cardboard waste is part of the category of easily recyclable waste, but
which is on a strong upward trend in terms of volume, as a result of the increase
in the consumption of goods in general that require packaging and the
obligation to abandon plastic packaging. The establishment of the paper and
cardboard waste collection network by placing containers will facilitate the
collection and transport of specific waste to the manufacturing workshop,
where by recycling them, craft paper will be obtained. Thus, the achievement of
the main environmental protection goals will be ensured through the selective
collection of paper and cardboard followed by their recycling and
transformation into craft paper. Subsidiarily, the implementation at the school
level the manufacturing workshop, will ensure a permanent education of young
people both regarding environmental protection and the secrets of paper
recycling and the possibility of learning a trade.
Free day Free day for participants to explore the city, culture, history and environment of
Galati, the Fishing Museum, the Botanical Garden, the Danube.

Our Future project Participants will be in national teams and they will discus and prepare the
presentation what kind of projects are they planning to implement in their
communities and after the presentations they will share idea to each other and
get advices how to do it. Presentation of the project at the local, county, national
and European community level; making promotional materials; the planning of
internal and external dissemination activities, the assumption of dissemination
activities by each mobility participant; workshops to present the project in the
community and in at least 3 schools without Erasmus + projects.

Evaluation Methods: Group work, discussions, Q&A, Workshop. The aim: To evaluate the
results of the project, evaluation forms, wishes to each other. To evaluate the
results of the project: the assessment made by the teachers involved in the
project activities; completing the questionnaire on the Mobility Tool; the
assessment carried out by the school in each project.
Departure Before Departure there will be staff / Leaders meeting: the team Leaders (the
decision maker in the organization) will gather to summarize the outcomes, to
evaluate the development and the results of the YE according to the gained
evaluations, discussing the outcomes and the running of possible follow-up
events. Presentation of the project at the local, county, national and European
community level; making promotional materials; the planning of internal and
external dissemination activities, the assumption of dissemination activities by
each mobility participant; workshops to present the project in the community
and in at least 3 schools without Erasmus + projects.
