4. Before going further, I would like to check your ATTENDANCE. (called the

training center follows.

THE CBT means Competency Based Training. (PowerPoint


PRESENTATION)

The CBC is a plan for structured series of learning


experiences toward achieving of competencies identified by the
industry; it details training methodologies, resources, facilities,
infrastructure and other materials required both for training
and assessment strategies. It is a specification of the course a
trainee will undertake to attain workplace competencies. It is
developed based on the Training Regulations.

Our qualification, ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION NC II has 4 kinds of


Competencies, the BASIC, COMMON, CORE COMPETENCIES and the Elective
Competicies. The focus of our training is the CORE COMPETENCIES, there are
4 units of competency in this qualification namely: Raise Organic
Chicken,Produce Organic Vegetables within 240 hours durations of this
training.

I will INTRODUCES you to the different LEARNING AREAS of this training center.
1. PRACTICAL WORK AREA- it is where trainee acquire the skills and
knowledge components of the competencies prescribes by the standard.

2. INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT AREA- This area provides the mechanism


of assessing the completion of competencies of a trainee

3. LEARNING RESOURCES AREA- This area provides the trainee with the
knowledge requirements in the various modules responding to the competencies.

4. CONTEXUAL LEARNING AREA- this area ensures the underpinning


knowledge,the science,mathematics and communication principle to the technology.

5. QUALITY CONTROL AREA-

6. TRAINER RESOURCE AREA-

7. DISTANCE LEARNING AREA- the facility that connects my trainees


assigned outside this training center via telephone, telefax machine of the
internet
8. COMPUTER LABORATORY- you can use this facility for research
exploration.
9. SUPPORT SERVICE AREA- it where we store our tools and other
materials needed
