What is CBLM – It has INFORMATION SHEET that contains learning activities, SELF-CHECK an
immediate assessment or understanding based on what you have read in the information sheet. It also
has ANSWER KEY that immediate feedback to your Self-Check. It has OPERATION SHEET, TASK
SHEET OR JOB SHEET to practice your skills and PERFORMANCE CRITERIA CHECKLIST which will
be used to assess or evaluate your performance.
MONITORING TOOLS
       Progress Chart – This chart is a monitor of the learning outcomes and Competencies achieved by
        each trainee. It measured by how much gain or growth students make over time
       Achievement Chart – This chart is a monitor of the required project or activities that usually in the
        job sheet of the CBLM (Daily Activities).
EVALUATION - Assessment is based in the collection of evidence of the performance of your work to the
industry required standard and there will be result of Assessment.
DATA GATHERING TOOLS for trainee’s characteristics. It will help me determine your background,
experiences and knowledge.
SELF ASSESSMENT CHECKLIST - It will help determine the current competencies and to recognize
prior learning that is relevant to the qualification. So that the training will be personalized according to the
trainees needs.

Good afternoon trainees. I have here with me your result of self-assessment checklist. And I found out
that Mr. _______ have prior knowledge relevant to one of the unit of competency of this qualification. So,
Mr.______ please bring any evidences tomorrow for me to check the validity and authenticity of the
document. Okay? Okay.
Now, are you ready for pre-test? Since were done to our orientation then i will administer the pre-test.

WORKSHOP AREAS:
1. CONTEXTUAL LEARNING LABORATORY – This facility ensures that the underpinning knowledge,
   science, mathematics and communication principles as applied to the technology are provided to you.
   (This will secure as our classroom)
2. INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT – This is important of all areas because this is where the RPL is
   done by the trainer and where the institutional of each competency.
3. LEARNING RESOURCE AREA – This area is where can find and borrow the non-printed materials as
   your references. (Mini library)
4. PRACTICAL WORK AREA – This area is where the learners acquire skills and knowledge needed
   and prescribed by the standards.
5. TRAINERS RESOURCE CENTER – This area houses the learning materials, the training regulations
   and curriculum examples
6. QUALITY CONTROL AREA – Where various test aside from metrology and calibration are conducted
   in this area.
7. DISTANCE LEARNING AREA – This area enables the learning provision outside and away from the
   training institution.
8. COMPUTER LABORATORY– This area where you can see we have a lot of computers so you are
   going to research a lot through computers. Use of Information Technology that may include WORD,
   EXCEL and PUBLISHING.
9. SUPPORT SERVICE AREA – This area provides value-adding competencies

DAY II
   -     Attendance
   -     Recap
   -     Collect certificate of with prior learning
   -     Assign non-prior learning to contextual learning laboratory and give instruction
         (Read Info Sheet, Answer Self Check, compare answer to answer key and Watch
         Videos)
   -     Assign with prior learning to Institutional Assessment Area and give instruction
         (Written test, demonstration or any applicable method of assessment)
   -     Observe the trainee ask question (if applicable)
   -     Give constructive feedback based on his performance and now he can proceed to his
         next activity based on the training activity matrix and tell him you’ll give the cert of
         achievement next day.
   -     Record the progress and achievement chart.
   -     Go back to non-prior learning ask for the progress
   -     Go to the practical work area and demo first and let the trainee re-demo. (Let him
         perform base on your task sheet/job sheet and wear proper PPE)
   -     Let him evaluate his performance in the performance checklist.
   -     Record progress in achievement chart.
   -     Tell him that he can proceed to his next activity based on the training activity matrix.
   -     End the session and let them perform 5’S
DAY III
   -     Attendance
   -     Post-test (give proper instruction)
   -     Program Evaluation
   -     Inform the trainee that they are now ready for National Assessment
   -     End the session and let them perform 5’S
