PROJECT PROPOSAL

1. Title: - Adding green, adding agriculture


- Organic agriculture for all

Agriculture is very vital not only for an individual but also for everyone. It is the
most important need of us because without it, we cannot live and survive. And we
should encourage farmers or youth to study or promote what is the importance in
farming in agriculture.

Location: T. Perez St., Daraga, Albay
- Are the project’s demands on the natural resources assured of being
met for the life of the project? Yes, it is for the lifetime of the farmers or
participants that they will have a training hall and a training will be
conducted.
- Would the project be at any risk from environmental or human-made
hazards? Yes, it maybe possible at any risk from environmental
hazards such as heavy rains that causes floods, volcanic eruption and
typhoon.
2. Activity Components
-Training hall and demo farm at T. Perez St., Daraga, Albay
-Activities: Trainings for farmers, meetings, seminars, demo area for farmers
-List the things that need to be done to produce the desired output. Is a formal
feasibility/ design study required?
Complementary measures needed: The skills or learnings that farmers or
participants acquired knowledge and adopt it to their farm or in communal garden and
also there feedback to the resource person/s or discussant.

4. Justification of the Project

Rationale

Training is very essential and training arm not only for employees but more
essential to farmers, agri-enthusiast and all organizations related to agriculture. It helps
trainees or farmers to become more advance when it comes to technologies and farm
equipments.
Agriculture is the most important thing in our industry. It is the backbone of our
economy that each of us should acknowledge it. Farmers can learn new ideas with new
technologies and techniques in farming.
It can also be an additional income or hobby to farmers because the majority of
the farmers are seniors.
In this regard,the Municipal Agriculture Services Office (MASO) perpetrates all
trainings about agriculture to all interested farmers, agri-enthusiats and organizations.
The MASO confides to share and extend support for agriculture association and farmers
for further development of their farms or small enterprise in the municipality.

Goal and Objectives:


Goal: To gain additional knowledge or information to all trainess and adopt to farming
activities.
Objectives:
1. To provide trainings to all interested farmers, agri- enthusiast and all related
agriculture organizations.
2. To equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills needed in training.
3. To build up agriculture trainings to all attentive farmers.
- Indicate the issue being addressed as identified in the plan.
- What indicators of development does the proposed project address?
- On what other places is the project likely to have an effect and how?
The project have an effect to other places by means of informing
farmers that MASO has lots of training that they can train and broaden
their knowledge about organic farming.
- What social and economic activities in what locations are likely to be
affected by the project and how?
- In what way, if any, is the proposed project related to other planned or
non-going area development activities?
It is related to other planned by means of lots of training that should be
conducted with a demo in an area.

5. Target Benefeciaries:
- All interested farmers and they will be benefited by means of learning new
technologies and adopt it in their farm or in their association/organization or in backyard
farming.

- Quantify if possible.
- Include indicator of success and means of verification
Sharing of farmers or participants to their co farmers, adopting their
learnings in actual.
- What complementary measures are needed to ensure project
success or reinforce the intended effects?
By helping farmers to their needs specifically the new technologies
that they will learn and it can be an additional income to them.
- Will the project lower transaction cost?
It maybe can lower the transaction cost if farmers are near or adjacent
in the training area.
- Will the project reduce barriers to participation?
Yes, the project can reduce barriers because farmers can easily
transport to the training area without hindrances .
- Will the project increase local area employment?
Yes, it is possible that the project will increase local arear employment
because in a proposed training hall and in a demo farm, it needs
employees to take care of animals and plants.
- Will the project increase income multiplication?
Yes, it is possible because of reproduction of livestock animals and
also some vegetables that are planted in a demo farm.
- What will be the public revenue and expenditure impacts of the
project?
- Is the project meant to improve area socio-economic performance in
any other ways?
