informasi terkait manual penggunaan teknologi dan kiat-kiat (tips),
pendek dan sederhana, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.

teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks prosedur lisan dan tulis, dalam
bentuk manual terkait penggunaan teknologi dan kiat-kiat (tips).

penggunaan teknologi dan kiat-kiat (tips), dengan memperhatikan
fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan, secara benar dan
sesuai konteks
Task 1. Read the following text then answer the questions.
Chicken Wraps
Ingredients :
- 45 ml olive oil - 2 chicken breast, skinned and
sliced
- 8 flour tortillas - 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced - 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and sliced - 1 lemon, juiced
- salt and pepper
Steps :
1. Heat the oven 200°C (180° fan), 400°F, gas 6.
2. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and fry
for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through. Set
aside.
3. Warm the tortillas in the oven for a few minutes. Remove from the oven.
4. Place the chicken and vegetables on the tortilla, sprinkle over the lemon juice
and roll up, tucking the sides. Do to all the remaining.
5. Slice the wraps in half and garnish with parsley.

Procedural Text
The text above is called a Procedure text in a form of a recipe. A procedure text is
:
1. Texts that explain how something works or how to use
instruction / operation manuals e.g. how to use the video, the computer,
the tape recorder, the photocopier, the fax, etc.
2. Texts that instruct how to do a particular activity e.g. recipes,
rules for games, science experiments, road safety rules.
3. Texts that deal with human behaviour eg how to live happily,
how to succeed.
The purpose procedural text is to tell the reader how to do or make something. The
information is presented in a logical sequence of events which is broken up into
small sequenced steps.
The structure of Procedure text consists of :
1. Goal/aim, which is usually the title of the text or stated at the opening
paragraph; that shows the purpose of the text.
2. Ingredients or materials, which are needed in conducting the procedure;
3. Steps or methods to be followed in conducting the procedure. It describes
the steps to achieve the purpose.
The language features of a procedure text are :
1. Present Tense / imperative sentence, such as “Warm the tortillas in the oven
for a few minutes.”; “Remove from the oven.”,
2. Time orders or sequences, such as first, second, next, then, after that, finally.
Task 2. Read the following text then answer the questions.
How To Use A Cash Deposit Machine To Deposit Money
To deposit your cash money in a Cash Deposit Machines (CDM), you need to
prepare the followings:
1.Cash Deposit Machines (CDM)

3.Automated Teller Machines (ATM) Card
There are few steps to deposit cash money in CDM as follows:
First, insert your ATM card into CDM machine. Second, select any language you
want. Third, enter your pin number. And then, from the main menu select
“Deposit” option. Next, you have to select “Cash Deposit” option. After that,
select “Savings” or “Current” type of Account. Next, press “Confirm” from the
menu to make sure that you will not deposit more than 200 notes. After that,
place your cash money in the cash dispenser machine and the machine may
take time to validate the cash. Then, the screen will display the denomination and
here you can see the summary of how many notes you enter. Finally, click on
“Confirm” to finish your transaction
