Personal Characteristics
these virtues?

• Organized • Organization is the key to

proper classroom
management. Adapting such
value/characteristics will be
ideal for the teaching-learning
process especially that I am a
beginning teacher.
• These value/characteristics are
• Passionate and Dedicated important to emulate the
driving force on why teachers
teach and touch their
students’ lives.
• Professionalism is a key and
• Professionalism
way to be the authority and
guiding star of the teaching-
learning process. As teachers
we are facilitators and a
professional who is considered
as the more knowledgeable
other.
My Analysis

In my first encounter with my cooperating teacher, I realized that:

• There are a lot of things I need to focus on handling the external factors of stress.
• As a student-teacher, you must take one step at a time.
• Learn from their experiences and adapt only the necessary things needed by
your students.
• As a teacher, you must also make time for yourself or to self-heal.

My Reflections / My Insights

A. Check only one and explain.

/ I am ready for the teaching profession.

I still need to overcome my apprehension.

Because I am trained and very passionate about what I do. As a

teacher, I also learned from my professors and teachers that every step you
take affects every person moving around you, it’s just a matter of time and
experience a person’s maturity and values varies from one another.
Also, I can confidently say that I am ready for this profession because
dedicated teachers like my role models are rapidly decreasing due to early
retirement and mortality, that’s why as their protégé, I will impart knowledge
based on my collected experiences on their teaching techniques. But even if
these events occur, I always remind myself about my purpose and vision to
strengthen and preserve the Filipino values our roots have inculcated in each
and every one of us.
Technically speaking, I am prepared for the profession because without
a doubt, I know I focused well and got my grades well based on my own
personal efforts and I got them working hard without sacrificing my principles.
It’s actually funny that in real life, there are still other people who take
advantage of others to be on top even though they don’t deserve the spot.
That’s why aside from teaching science, I promise to teach my students the
RIGHT WAYS AND THINGS IN LIFE.
