Committee Report Tumibo

The Committee on Tourism and Infrastructure of the Sangguniang Bayan of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro submitted a report recommending that the Sangguniang Bayan support a request for funding assistance from the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority to construct a boardwalk in the Tumibo Mangrove in Barangay Tumibo. The committee reviewed the request from the Local Tourism Office and found that developing a boardwalk would promote Tumibo as an attractive tourist destination.

SUBJECT : Resolution requesting the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) to
provide funding assistance for the Construction of Boardwalk in Tumibo Mangrove in Brgy. Tumibo,
Lubang, Occidental Mindoro.

Presiding Officer and Sangguniang Bayan Members;

Referred before this committee a request from our Local Tourism Office to support the initiated project
for our Municipality regarding the funding assistance from TIEZA.

Our committee conducted a meeting and review such request to study the importance of creating this
project.

Whereas, such project of a Boardwalk in Tumibo Mangrove in Tumibo in Brgy. Tumibo is indeed a very
positive steps towards promoting a better and more attractive tourist destination.

Now therefore, our committee is soliciting support from this honorable body to adopt this request.
