SYNOPSIS
CADASTRAL SURVEYING 2 provides students with the knowledge on title survey, land
development process and exposure to conduct cadastral works according to the latest
regulations. It also emphasizes on problem solving and technique of data collection manually
and Field To Finish (F2F) concept until the production of Certified Plan (CP).
1. Perform cadastral work with F2F concept until the production of CP according to the
Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia (JUPEM) or Department of Land and Survey
Sarawak (JTSS) or Department of Land and Survey Sabah (JTUS) format. (P4,PLO2)
2. Demonstrate the ability to lead and work as a team to complete astronomical observation in
cadastral work manually according to Cadastral Survey Regulation. (A3,PLO9)

FIELD PROCEDURE
1. Obtain the appropriate tracing of fieldwork based on the information provided before
survey start. Tracing must be presented to your supervisor.
3. Obtain the appropriate datum as required in Survey Regulations and record it.
7. In the traverse work, it must cover planting boundary marks and other related matters as
may be necessary.
RESULTS
Compare the measurements from the Total Station and Certified Plan. Carry out refixation on
missing boundary marks.

At the end of these practical, students must send report containing as follow.

ii) Purpose / Objective
iii) Equipment used ( with pictures / sketch)
iv) Field work procedure
v) Outcome
vi) Analyzed / calculation data (if need)

FIELD PROCEDURE
1. Obtain the appropriate tracing of fieldwork based on the information provided before
survey start. Tracing must be presented to your supervisor.
3. Start datum from CRM station or obtain the appropriate datum as required in Survey
Regulations.
4. Start booking the external workbook by e-Cadastral Survey Regulations 2009.
5. Carry out a closed-traverse. A minimum of 8 stations is required. Every member of the
group must carry out observation and booking for at least one station.
6. In the traverse work, it must cover planting boundary marks and other related matters as
may be necessary.
7. Each group must produce/plot a Certified Plan according to Survey Regulations.
RESULTS
Compare the measurements from the Total Station and Certified Plan. Carry out refixation on
