Are Humans Inherently Good or Evil?
Humans are born is different ways and aspects, each one having various traits and
potential. But as whole are humans considered to be good or evil. For say they were good, it
won’t be perfect. There will be some mistakes, on purpose or an accident. On the other hand
Evil is like a corruption of one’s mind like a unbalance or the sort. But then it won’t remain this
way for long. No one can remain evil for long. I don’t think, at first they want to be evil. I mean
for an example if a man’s desire for something causes to break laws, will make him evil in
everyone’s eye. But really this man’s goal is his focus, nothing else. I don’t want to believe he
wants to be hated or live on the run just for the heck of it. I have experienced this myself,
countless times in fact. And throughout the years I don’t consider myself evil. Evil pushes to
your settlement or liking but then ‘good will always be there to get you to know there is a
another (sometimes not better) way. Good prevails every single time. Its in your conscience and
you pretty much encounter good from evil. Evil cannot withstand the purity of good.
It all comes to the verdict. My best bet is that humans are inherently good. I interpret the
term good in a normal sense like ordinary or just plain. With this said you could say good is
everywhere. Hence on the streets, society, environment, etc. People are good from the time
they were born to the time they die. Now what makes us good is how we change over time. That
is in our nature as of adapting. In our daily life humans act maturely, formal manner, amongst
one another. You may disagree, because some are different. Most importantly to contradict this
is that they all capability of doing good, nothing can prevent them. Good is not effecting a major
amount of distress of others. The choice of good and evil is not a choice at all. I believe that the
good or evil depends on the past life of the human. I think that there is a life after death
(reincarnation). We get the chance to correct our mistakes in the next life but it always don't end
up that way. If you ever heard the saying history repeats itself well thats what happens. There is
proof out there of reincarnation as they will be finding the 18th dalai lama when the 17th dies.
But as everyone else I have my opponent and you have yours. No one’s evil they just integrity
I believe when there is good there is also evil. There has to be evil in order for good to
exist. No matter how you put it evil has to exist. Why? There has to to be choices that will define
a person’s true character as well what else lies ahead. As I said previously no one can be evil,
evil is just a temptation. Everyone will manage through in the process. The past and present ties
into this. At early times humans are just developing at the basic stage. Good is ever so
deserving to man. The period where they are unaware and completely clueless. So to tie it all it,
they all take risks. Modern time people are like more of perspective. There is a point of view of
your enemy and yourself. You may think you are righteous but behind the enemy lines they do
too. A good example is robin hood, the nobel archer. Robin Hood steals from the rich but gives
to the poor. The rich thinks of him as evil but the poor says otherwise and sees him good. Is
Robin hood really good or evil for his acts? Indeed he is good. It has been in movies, tv shows,
stories, etc but good always win. The hero defeats the villain in a showdown. The villains gets
their beating and fails.
In summary evil and good plays an important role for humans. You may not agree but
there is nothing a person can do to deserve death. No matter how evil a person can get, death
cannot solve anything. This is based on DC and Marvel comic books. You don’t see Batman
killing Joker. Thats how Joker constantly gets loose and causes mischief. After all the trouble
Joker has stirred up. Like to the point where Joker kills Batman’s girlfriend, or his sidekick,
Robin. In addition, he’s responsible for all the mass murders brought upon to the citizens.. Why
not end his life to prevent this? There were a lot of opportunities where Baman can just waste
Joker. Why not get rid of Joker for good? You may not notice this but Batman knows he’s good.
Batman realizes this throughout his history with Joker. Shocking right? but recall that nobody is
evil. This very true to all villains. Only Jokers actions led him to being evil. Remember killing
Joker means there is no evil. And evil has to exist in order for good to exist. Humans are
inherently good.
