General Technical Specification :
Soft starter must be designed with harmonics free series reactor impedance with pure sinusoidal wave output and variable voltage as function of motor speed and back EMF. It must be capable of reducing the motor starting current to at least 60% of DOL starting current.
Soft starter unit to reduce the starting energy consumption equivalent to at least 150 % to 120 % of the motor rated full load consumption.
The starter must be designed to operate satisfactorily with +/- 10% voltage and +/-3% frequency variation and upto 1000 mtr above mean sea level and ambient temperature 50 degree centigrade.
The starter must narrate the motor active status and display the recent starting parameters with Motor starting current , System starting current, soft starter temperature.
The soft starter panel must be of minimum IP 52 grade.
