THE 13th NOTE

Venue Hire Contract


Important information to confirm your booking at The 13th Note: please read
this form, complete it as necessary and return it to tony13thnote@gmail.com.

Load-in & sound check: Please load-in to the venue via the entrance on
Osborne Street – a member of staff will unlock the door for you. Load-in and
sound check is from 6pm, but can be made earlier upon request.

Door times & curfew: Typically, doors open at 8pm, but this can be flexible,
with prior arrangement. Please provide a running order of set-times to the
sound engineer.

Curfew from Sunday to Thursday is 10:45pm, with venue fully vacated by


11:15pm. Curfew on Friday and Saturday is 11:45pm, with venue fully
vacated by 12:15am.

Hire fee: The cost of hire is £50. This is a flat rate on Friday and Saturday -
from Sunday-Thursday, if the venue bar makes £160, this fee can be
waived. We request this is paid at least one week before the event.

If you are organising a charity fundraiser, we can waive the fee – we ask that
we receive a letter/email from the charity or the charity number for this.

Equipment: We will provide bar staff (but not door staff), a sound engineer,
and PA (including mics, DI boxes, etc.), but there is no back line available
from the venue. The promoter and bands must organise this themselves.

Cancellations: If you must cancel the event – for whatever reason – you must
phone 0141 553 1638 and inform the duty manager at least 48 hours prior
to the event. Failure to do so and you will be liable to pay the hire fee.

Promotional material: Please provide us with all relevant promotional material


for your event (for example, Facebook pages, event listings, posters, etc.).

Miscellaneous information: The audience capacity for the venue is 100


people. We operate a strict no under 18s policy. Sorry.

If you wish to leave equipment overnight, please collect this before midday.

If you wish to provide a rider for the bands, you are free to do so, but please
inform the duty manager. Due to licensing laws, the rider must be distributed
by bar staff only.

Venue rights: Ultimately, we reserve the right to pull the gig / remove a band
from the bill, whether it is in relation to underage people, drunk or abusive
band members, or any other reason we (management, staff, sound
engineers) deem reasonable to do so.
