LEARNING TASK
A. ENGAGE/ Conduct a review about other laws of gases:
RECALL Recite the formula for the following laws:
- Charle’s Law
- Boyle’s Law
- Gay-Lussaw Law
B. EXPLORE Lecture while following along the “Balancing Chemical Equations” Power

1. FeCl3 + MgO ---> Fe2O3 + MgCl2

ELABORATE Hand out “Balancing Chemical Equations Practice” to each student, explain
Directions, and have the students work in pairs.

3. C5H11NH2 + O2 ---> CO2 + H2O + NO2
