Emergency Leave Policy
All full time employees of the company who have completed the probation
period are eligible for emergency leaves for a period of maximum 7 days.
Purposes
The Policy aim to address any of the below mentioned situations, where an
employee and his/her blood relation is involved
Emergency leave is approved only if employee or his/her blood
relation – such as mother, father, wife, children or sibling is demise or
in serious health condition.
Emergency Leave may also be granted for catastrophic life events.
Note:
i. Blood relation as defined by UAE, MOI
ii. As per the UAE Labour Law, there is no emergency leave and the
same is subject to the consent of the employer as well as the system
applicable in the company. Besides, the employer is not obliged by law
to grant such leaves.
