The Economic Division takes charge for the review of plans of different
offices in the economic, environment, industry and tourism sectors of the
province, as well as the generation of economic data necessary for the
formulation of economic sector plan.

OLD POSITION DESCRIPTION :
1. Under immediate supervision of the
PDC, performs avariety of Economic
Analysis, studies and evaluates
concerning with the major sectors of the
Provincial economy by gathering
economic data from available sources
such as NEDA and NCSO as well as data

2. Projects and identify economic trends
to incorporate into short and long range
planning affects by analysing the data
when available;
3. Make provisional forecast of business
trends and provincial projects and
programs w/n the feasibility of provincial
resources to offset or assist the outcome
of these forecast;
4. Analysis income trends to pinpoint
rural poor and low income areas as
indices of needed infrastructure and
other income producing projects;
5. Contribute economic analysis in for
form of micro-tools and micro-analysis
to such things as as the Comprehensive
Development Plan and the Capital
