About this audiobook

I’m a Gemini. Impulsive. Curious. Headstrong. A twin. Heir to a throne I know nothing about. And it turns out, I’m Fae.

But of course there’s a catch - all I have to do to claim my birth right is prove that I’m the most powerful supernatural in the whole of Solaria. And sure, technically that’s true as I’m the daughter of the Savage King. But the bit they didn’t put in the brochure was that every single Fae in this Kingdom would claim my throne if they could.

The school they’ve sent me to is both dangerous as sh*t and one helluva party. Vampires bite weaker students in the corridors, the Werewolf pack has orgies in the Wailing Wood at every full moon and don’t even get me started on the dark and twisted ways the Sirens use their powers on people’s emotions, or how my sinfully tempting Cardinal Magic teacher hosts detentions that leave people needing therapy.

Classes are totally interesting if you manage to live through them. And that Gemini star sign I mentioned? It now determines my elemental magic and affects my destiny, so learning astrology is essential if I’m going to beat down my classmates – which is actively encouraged by the way.

My biggest problem is the drool worthy Dragon shifter who has his eyes on my throne. He and his three psycho friends are determined to make my time here hell.

All I’ve got to do is survive. But fate might have other ideas.

Dammit, why couldn’t I have gotten a letter to Hogwarts?

This is a dark, bully romance – don’t go expecting a sweet school for magic with friends around every corner. Fae fight for everything they own and Zodiac Academy is a cutthroat school for students aged 18+ where only the strongest prevail. There’s no Dumbledore here to save anyone’s ass and Lionel Acrux will give Voldemort a run for his money in the evil dictator category. So hold onto your stardust (broomsticks not required) and get ready for a bumpy ride.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

Author

Caroline Peckham

Caroline Peckham is the author of the YA Fantasy series The Rise of Isaac (Book 1: Creeping Shadow was released December 2015). She began writing after her passion for young adult fantasy fiction grew to an obsession and she loves that she is now not only a fan of the genre but now an author of it too. Caroline lives in the south east of London in a tiny, quintessentially English town where you'll find an abundance of tea shops, pubs and rain. She has a BSc in Zoology from The University of Reading and, when not writing, still has a mind for science and googles every question that springs to mind. She adores animals, adventure trips, and watching the latest fantasy, action, paranormal and science fiction films at the cinema.

Book is great. Love it actually. Only thing that is annoying is the stupid ad music in the backround sometimes. It doesnt fit most of the time. But otherwise amazing story and cant wait to listen to the next book !

I don't understand why the twins don't read some books about what they are thrust into. Maybe if they did some research, they wouldn't be so surprised at everything. I'm sure the school has a library with history about everything.

Fantastic book! Why did I take so long to start this series????? So so good, exciting, riveting plot that keeps you entranced.
You get to HATE the Heirs and at times you want to reach into the book and bitch slapping them. But there's sooooo much going on in the background that the next book is a necessity, NOW! ??

The voices for some of the characters were updated a few months ago according to GA, and Everand still has the old version of the audiobook. If you listen to the sample on Graphic Audio website and compare to this one, you can hear the difference. The book itself is great, I’ve already read it and wanted to listen to it to recapture the beginning but some of the voices are cringey! Would love to hear the updated version.

I love this series so much I decided to unlock this just so I could listen to the book from where I had it booked mark on my long drive. I was disappointed to find that I unlocked it for no reason at all though. I’m passed where this ends as I’m already on chapter 24 and this didn’t even get close to that. I give the book 5 stars but for this app having less than half a book on here I give -20

Great production. I would have rated it higher, but the voices for Darius and Geraldine just didn't do it for me. They are talented actors, just maybe not for these parts. Zodiac Academy makes my high school years seem like a breeze!

I might have enjoyed this book if I read it when I was 12. Almost DNF, but I wanted to see what the hype was about. Terrible writing, painfully cringeworthy characters. They did not get any better throughout the book. Booktok fails me again.

It's okay. Not something I would continue reading for enjoyment. The way it flips back and forth between Tory and Darcy can be kind of confusing considering they're twins and their storylines shift somewhat but trying to keep up with who is talking to/about who takes much of the fun out of the book. Not my personal cup of tea, but it's also not bad.

So many of the voice actors don't match the characters at all. The music in this production is also very loud and distracting. This felt very messy compared to all of the other GA books I've listened to.
